Your final grade in the course will be assigned based primarily on your overall mark. Note, however, that we will not allow laboratory or homework marks to compensate for failing

examination marks. In addition, if your mark in homework assignments is above the class average, but your mark in

examinations is far below the class average, your homework will be taken into account with a smaller

percentage value as that indicated above. In order to be assigned a passing final grade, you must

fulfill ALL THREE of these conditions: Obtain an overall mark greater than 50%, ANDattend the laboratory regularly and obtain a satisfactory mark therein, ANDachieve a satisfactory performance in the examinations.
