  • Learning Outcomes By the end of this workshop, you will be able to: use the library online catalogue to locate books from the library and other UGC funded libraries for their research projects use key Chinese databases such as , , to find journal articles, theses and e-books for their research projectsuse the Chinese online tools to find quick references such as word definition, Chinese pronunciation of words, source of the quote, etc.identify tools to assist in citing sources correctly

  • Search for Information: Library Catalogue*Title : Exact title or the first few words of the title Keyword : Words in all fieldsAuthor: Author's name / name of a government body, an organization or a conference Subject : Standardized terms assigned to the record

  • Library Catalogue-- Advanced Search*Select Title field.Type the keyword " in the search box.
