Host City The temple town Udupi is famous for its temples and cuisine. It is a relatively small but a culturally vibrant and intellectually enlightened town situated in Coastal Kamataka. Trains from Mumbai and Delhi running towards Kerala and vice versa on the Konkan route stop at Udupi station, which is about 16 kilometers from SMVITM. Trains coming from Chennai terminate at Mangaluru Central, which is about 60 Km from SMVITM. Udupi is also well connected by road to major cities of Karnataka, and neighboring states. The nearest airport is Mangaluru International Airport, which is connected by domestic flights to Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru.

Registration Details Participants are requested to fill the registration form and send it along with the registration fee to the contact address given below. At least one author of each accepted paper must register to get the paper included in the Conference Program. Only one paper will be considered for presentation against each registration.

Publication Accepted papers will be included in the conference program. Selected papers will be published in the UGC approved Journal- International Journal of Scientific and Engineering Research (USER) -ISSN-2229-5518.

Submission Guidelines The contributions should be of high quality, original work and not published elsewhere. The authors are required to submit the full paper strictly as per the template available on the host institution website www.sode-edu.in, to the conference email id ncetse@sode-edu.in. All submitted papers will be reviewed by a technical review committee through a fair and rigorous peer review process. After intimation of acceptance, camera ready paper should be submitted to the conference email id along with the registration form and fee. Delegates are requested to frequently check the website of the host institution to get updated information about NCETSE - 2018.

Conference themes The National conference addresses key topics and issues related to emerging trends in science and engineering. It will be presented in a program of technical sessions, panel discussions and keynote speeches. Call for papers Consistent to the NCETSE-2018 theme, we invite contributions from researchers, academicians, engineers and students to submit the papers, which may be conceptual, theoretical or empirical in nature. They may document research activity, case studies or best practices, shedding light on the theory or practice in the related emerging fields of science and engineering.

About the conference The prime objective of organizing NCETSE-2018 is to bring experts and researchers from Academia, R&D centers and industries working in the emerging fields of science and engineering together and provide them a platform for interacting and sharing their research findings. The conference aims at creating interest in the minds of young graduates to pursue research as their career. We sincerely hope that NCETSE-2018 will facilitate as a platform to increase the scope and promote interdisciplinary research among researchers and helps in presenting technological advancements in the emerging areas of science and engineering.

About the Institute Established in the year 2010 under the aegis of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Education Trust, Udupi, Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management (SMVITM) has emerged as a promising institution with a distinction and has been in the pursuit of academic excellence in the field of engineering education right from its inception. The aim of the Institute is to promote research activities of global standards and provide quality professional education in engineering to rural students at affordable costs and thereby ensuring the uplift of the underprivileged. Though still at its infancy, SMVITM has carved a niche for itself in the field of technical education in the Coastal Karnataka region.
