IMAGERY IN THE POEM The imagery in the poem is when he goes and
enjoys his childhood in the autumn, its said in the story its

BIOGRAPHICAL IMFORMATION The author Robert Duncan did not have
a very good childhood. His mother died at his birth, and his father
was unable to raise him. So he became an orphan and didnt have a
very good childhood.

LITERAL MEANING How he went on a lot of adventures, some that
he didnt even like but he still keep going and tried a lot of
things he never thought hed be doing.

FIGURATIVE MEANING The speaker has realized of how hes changed
over the years. Than he realizes how in his life he was always
pushing himself, he tried to make the best of his
life/himself.

AUTHORS PURPOSE To show how he did not have the best childhood,
and that he wants parents to make there kids have a very enjoyable
and outdoor fouled childhood.

THEME The theme in the story is about how the author wants
everyone to have a great life and in doing that you have to first
have a great childhood and everything else should be great in the
future. Also to never stop, to always keep going, and dont stop
even if your afraid.
