Join the Friends of Pheasantbrook as we host the
return of the Crabapple Harvest Contest in
connection with a Childrens Halloween 1K Fun Run/
Walk to celebrate the award of a $15,000 matching
grant from KaBoom! and Dr. Pepper/Snapple, the
receipt of which would not have been possible
without the kindness offered by the Bountiful Lions
Club.
Celebration Details Interactive booths for
children to design their dream playspace.
Get your picture taken! (Especially great if youare in your
Halloween costume.)**
A breakfast bar, bounce house and games.**

The race begins on Brookfield Lane
and the celebration will be held on the
Pheasantbrook Tennis Courts.
Please park near Pheasantbrook
entrances on West Chase Lane or Main
St (apprx. 800 No.) & walk toward the
tennis courts in the middle of the
community. (signs will be posted)

and old) in our community and those surrounding us. We be-
lieve in and encourage a balance of active lifestyles, serving
the
community, and taking time to pause in this busy world. If

in the event will only occur if I/we are medically fit on the
day of the race and that, in any

Halloween Costumes areoptional but welcome. There will
be an opportunity at the post-
race celebration to have picturestaken for a small fee, the
proceeds of which will help
support our project for 2011-
2012.
Prizes! will be given to the topcrabapple harvester (for
PHOA
residents) & the top runners at
approximately 11am.

The first 100 registered
participants will receive a bib
number and swag bag donated
by the South Davis Rec Center
All pre-registered runners are
guaranteed a free breakfast
sponsored by Fresh Market.
Race Starts at 9am

Children of any age are welcome toparticipate. We ask that those
who are 7 oryounger be accompanied by a responsibleadult or older
sibling who will remain withthe children through out the race.
Entry fees:
$5.00 per child if registered by Oct 8th
$8.00 per child registering after Oct 8th,registration remains
open until 8:45am, Sat., Oct 15th.
ALL Proceeds benefit the
friends of Pheasantbrook
non-profit organization
The race will begin at the east endof Brookfield Lane in
Pheasant-brook. The route will then follow
Pheasantbrook Drive onto Pheas-antbrook Circle and finish at
theold tennis courts (signs will beposted to give direction).
Total distances is approximately 1Kor .7 miles.
Parents and family and friends areencouraged to cheer from the
side-lines.
Group warm ups begin at 8:45 am
