What does the Communist Party of China look like today?

The Chinese Communist Party is the world’s largest political party, with over 73 million members. The party oversees almost all aspects of people’s lives, including education, entertainments, housing, and number of children allowed

The Party is compromised of government officials, army officers, and workers. Influential business workers are also becoming prominent members of the Communist Party. 20% of members are women, which isn’t representative of China’s population

China is among the countries that practice capital punishment, in fact there are no exact statistics on how many people are executed as the Government refuses to release that information. The word censorship is censored in China.

If you join the Party you get some significant privileges, such as access to better information, schooling, and jobs, this may be a reason why party membership continues to rise.
