結業(Completion)

1. 本中心於學員修讀期滿經考試及格，將發給結業證書。

Students completing the courses and passing the Final Exam will be issued a certification

of completion by the CLC.

2. 獲頒結業證書條件

Requirements for the certification of completion. 缺課(含請假、曠課)不超過總時數四分之ㄧ。

Absent classes (including absence and leave) is less than 1/4 of one term.

請假及放假須知(CLC Holiday & Leave of Absence)：

1. 放假方式參考行政院人事行政局公告之國定例假日、學校所公告之行事曆，以及衡量國外重要節日放假情形，予以實施。

CLC holidays: Please consult the government’s legal holidays and university holidays.

2. 學期間如有自然災害(如颱風、地震、水災等)且行政院人事行政局公告不上課、不上班情況下；或不可抗拒之人文因素(如戰爭等)而經政府公告停課者，本中心將不需補課，亦無法退還學費。

Class cancelation caused by nature disaster (e.g. typhoon) will be neither makeup classes nor refunds.

3. 遲到超過 15 分鐘視為缺課。

4. 學員如請假，請示先通知本中心。

For day leave, please notify the Center.

5. 學員如請假，本中心將不另行個別補課。

(2). 讀書計畫

Study plan, describing your motive and plan for studying Chinese.

(3). 簽證申請表含條碼

The Visa application form including the barcode.

(4). 財力證明

Financial statement (e.g. a proof of your bank account balance.)

(5). 六個月以上的有效護照及1張空白簽證頁

Passport Valid for at least 6 months and a full blank page in the passport for the

VISA.

(6). 台灣辦事處或外交部要求提供的文件

Any documents demanded by visa officers.

簽證延期申請 (Visitor Visa Extension)

至高雄市移民署辦理( Apply at National Immigration Agency, Kaohsiung ) 1. 填寫紙本”外國人居(停)留案件申請表”

轉換簽證( Apply to Change a Visitor Visa to a Resident Visa )：

至外交部高雄辦事處辦理( Apply at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kaohsiung )

學生在台連續居住4個月，期間沒有出境，成績和出席紀錄良好，並有意在華語文中心就

讀3期以上，可以申請居留簽證（Resident Visa)。申請到居留簽證後，將可取得居留證

（ARC）。申請時間約需10個工作天，且必須在停留簽證到期前完成申請，建議最晚要在

停留簽證到期前的1週提出居留簽證申請。

Students who have studied in the CLC for 4 months consecutively and have never left Taiwan

during the period can apply for a resident visa if they wish to study for three terms or more.

With a resident visa, they may apply for an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC). Please note that the

Ministry of Foreign Affairs sometimes requires a guarantor before a resident visa can be issued.

It takes time to process the application. In case your visitor visa expires before your resident

visa application is granted, you must submit your resident visa application one week before

your visitor visa expires.

生活資訊(Life in I‐Shou University)：

住宿(Accommodation)

1. 義守大學宿舍設備完善，並有專人管理，是外籍生住宿最佳選擇。Housing at ISU on‐

campus is the best choice for you. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to live in a community of individuals with different interests, cultures, lifestyles and attributes. Besides, the residence hall staff helps you adjust to a community that will enhance your academic, personal and educational successes.

2. 住宿期間因個人因素退宿，住宿費不予退還。The fee is not refundable if the University’s

semester is finished by the middle of month or the student leaves by the middle of month.

4. 宿舍入住時間為每季開始前7天，華語文中心不負責安排住宿予提早抵台學生。學生須

注意抵台日期會影響往後停留簽到期日期。本中心建議抵台時間為開學前三天。

Move into the dorm: The room is only available for students to move in 7 days before the

commencement of the course. CLC does not arrange the accommodation for students who

arrived early before the commencement of the course. Please be aware the arrival date could

be affect your valid staying day of your visa. CLC recommends the best arrival date is three

days before the commencement of course.

5. 宿舍退宿時間為季班結束後三天內，華語文中心不負責安排住宿予延遲離台學生。學生

如已學期結宿仍留宿於宿舍，華語文中心有強制學生搬離之權利。

Move out of the dorm: Student must move out the dorm within three days by the end of

course. Chinese Language Center does not arrange the accommodation for student who

leaves late after the Chinese Seasonal Course. If the student stays in dorm over three days

after the seasonal course, the student will be forced to leave the dorm without notice.

6. 學生於學期結束後欲停留於宿舍超過三天者，學生至多只能停留至每學期末(非華語文

中心學期末)。留宿期間費用需另行付費，第一宿舍每天130元。

If the student would like to stay in dorm more than three days after the end of Chinese

Seasonal Course, it only allows the student to stay in dorm until the end of University’s

semester (not the semester of Chinese Seasonal Course). The extra fee will be charged by

days of staying，130 NTD per day for Dorm1.

保險(Insurance)

學生要確認保險是否會理賠在台灣的醫藥費用；或者可選擇加入團體保險，每個月新

台幣 500 元，請向華語文中心聯繫並討論。

Please ensure that you will have valid accidental insurance and medical insurance during

your stay in Taiwan. You could also subscribe accidental insurance in Taiwan. The fee is 500

NTD per month . You could ask the Chinese Language Center for assistance regarding the

insurance matters.

全民健保為領取ARC的外籍生於台灣居住6個月並於該期間內未離開台灣者，即可申請加

入全民健保。費用為每個月新台幣 749 元整。

National Health Insurance (NHI) It is strongly recommended that A.R.C. residents apply for a new National Health Insurance

plan. This plan may be applied for 6 months after receiving your ARC card without leaving

Taiwan. Payment is about NTD$749 monthly; just remember that the payment plan will

start exactly from the date your eligibility for applying NHI. If you wish to apply for this

insurance, please contact the staff at Chinese Language Center.

季節與衣著(Season and clothing)

高雄天氣夏季氣溫約 28‐34℃，冬季氣溫約 15‐23℃。高雄氣候偏熱，但由於學校位於山

區，冬季氣溫較低，且天氣多變，建議準備保暖衣物及個人藥品，換季時更要注意，並注意中央氣象局的氣象預報。中央氣象局全球資訊網： http://www.cwb.gov.tw/ http://www.cwb.gov.tw/

The temperature in Kaohsiung in summer is around 28‐34℃ and winter is

around 15‐23℃. Even though Kaohsiung’s weather tends to be hotter, the

school is located in the mountain area, so winter would be cooler and the

weather is varied. Warm clothes and personally medicines are suggested.

交通資訊(Transportation)

台灣的交通四通八達，在航空方面是國外旅客進入台灣的樞紐。在國內的交通網絡上，鐵路、公路、高速鐵路，以及捷運系統網絡十分發達。台灣與各離島及金門、馬祖間之交通，以飛機為主，客輪為輔。

Transportation is highly convenient in Taiwan, for both international and

domestic travel. Airline is the main way for foreign tourists to Taiwan. The

domestic transportation is highly convenient; railway, highway, high speed

railway and MRT are all easy to reach. The transportation between Taiwan and

outer islands, Kin‐men and Ma‐tsu mainly relies on airlines and some of the

ferries.

如何到達義守大學(How to get to I‐Shou)

　 I. Flights to Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH)： KHH→ I‐Shou

university

By Taxi：Taxi fee approxmate NT$700, driving distance about 40 minutes

　 By MRT: Form『R4 Kaohsiung International Airport』to『R16 Zuoying』, and

then transit E‐Da bus 8501 to『I‐Shou University』

　 II. Flights to Taoyuan International Airport (TPE):

Step 1：Taoyan Interna onal Airport→ THSR Taoyuan Sta on

When arriving at the airport, please take the shuttle bus or MRT to THSR

Taoyuan Station.

　 Step 2：THSR Taoyuan Sta on → THSR Zuoying Sta on

It takes about 90 minutes to travel from Taoyuan to Zuoying. The fare is

approximately 1,500 NTD per person.

　 Step 3：THSR Zuoying Sta on →I‐Shou university

By Bus：take E‐Da bus 8501 to『I‐Shou University』, it takes about 30

minutes and the fare is about NTD 40.
