Chintamani

Vasantha : Swami, what are You telling about Mangalyam?

Swami : You make two Mangalyas with blue stones. This is Purusha and Prakrithi.You wear it on the day of Krishna Jayanthi. You then put the smallMangalya on the idol of Andal. Do you know one thing? Where I am? I amin you. When I left the body, I fully came in you. My life force came inyou. I am always in you. Now I am in you fully. Yesterday, I gave the song,these are also My feelings. The other Mangalya belonged to that old body.Its power caused suffering to both you and I. When you wear the newMangalya, the form it belongs to will come out.

Vasantha : Now I understand all Swami.

Let us see. Swami has told since the first book itself that He is in me. He said,“During meditation, I come from within you and we talk. I then go back inside.”Generally, God will talk to the realized soul inside. This is attained by the opening of theSahasrara through yoga. My state is different. I am born from Swami. As I have no ‘i’, HeHimself is in me. He is there always guiding me. Before, Swami was in physical form inPuttaparthi. After He left the physical body, He came into me fully. Swami said His lifeforce also came into me. All my and Swami’s nadis tell that Swami is in my body only.

We thought that this was ordinary. However, all the rishis and siddhas ask in mynadi, ‘Why are you crying, where are you Swami? After leaving His body, He came fullyin you.’ It is only now we realize the truth of the nadis. Siddhas always tell all in alanguage of their own, so it is very difficult to understand. It is only now, after Swamihas explained that we are able to grasp the meaning in the nadis.

They told, ‘Not only Atma, but life force is in you’. It is through my wailing, tearsand call that Swami will now come again on the day of Krishna Jayanthi. On the day Iwear the new Mangalya, Swami will enter another body. Swami’s life force, which is

within me, will enter that body. It is through my Prema alone that this body is comingagain. My tears and wailings create His body. His life force, which is within me, willenter that body. It is for this reason Swami said big ‘I’.

Now, from this Vasantha Sathya, Sathya Sai and Vasantha Prema will appear asthe Vasanthamayam Creation. It is the power of my penance that will do all. This is alsowhat Swami demonstrates Himself by leaving the physical body and returning in a newform. The new form that He comes in emerges from me only. In my book, ‘LiberationHere Itself Right Now’, Pt. 3, I wrote:

Beautiful sweet form!

I said that His form comes through my wailing and yearning. What I have writtenon that day, Swami will now demonstrate. Bogar Siddha tells this in Swami’s Nadi. Whyhas Swami left His body and come in another form? How is He eligible? It is only nowSwami explains. Let us see the Hindi song Swami gave.

This song given by Swami perfectly reflects my feelings. It does not matter howgreat the truths are that Swami tells, I will never leave His form. He is my life force. Iwill have no peace until I see Him and merge in Him. First, He separated me from Himand brought my form. Now, through sadhana, He has shown how I have attainedSathyam. Swami left His body and entered in me. He now shows how I separate Him,from me and bring Him again.

This God, the greatest Avatar, is demonstrating this. No Avatar that has comebefore has left their body and come again in another body. This wonderful Avatar willshow how the Kali Yuga changes into Sathya Yuga. He Himself demonstrates this. I have

written about this wonderful song in my book ‘Gita Govindam Again’. It was on the dayof Poortasi Poornima in 2004, when we were in Puttaparthi that I was wailing, cryingand yearning in unbearable separation. Suddenly after arathi finished, Swami instructeda student to sing this song. Now as the situation is the same and I am crying, Swami hasagain given the song.

This entire universe is Swami. Swami is in every atom of my body. I want tomerge in every atom of Swami’s body. Yet, the desire to merge in every cell of Swami’sphysical body cannot satisfy me. I want to merge in Swami’s universal body. There is noplace, where He is not. He is in each grain of sand, bird, animal, plant, tree. There is noplace, where He is not. I want to merge with Him throughout the entire universe. This ismy desire.

This desire is now is being fulfilled. Swami and I are now one life force, one bodyand one feeling. Now understand this. His life force is in me. It came into me. It is onlyon the day of Krishna Jayanthi, that He will emerge. Yet, whatever I write, I cannot bearit and I am crying and crying. I cry out that "I myself am tying the Mangala sutra! Is thisSanathana dharma? Is this Indian culture? You tell! You tell!"

Swami: We have come for this only. Before, you saw your marriage inyour imagination. Now, I have told you and then you have done. This isdivine.

From a young age, I always imagined my marriage with Krishna. Swami asked meto make a Pottu Mangalya with a red stone. We then went to Brindavan Ashram,Whitefield. There, Swami touched and blessed it and I myself tied it. Now Swami hassaid to make two Mangalyas. ‘You make with blue stones and wear on the day of KrishnaJayanthi’. As I cannot bear it, I am crying. Swami gave a card with an OM sign and halfHis body. A V was written inside the OM. Inside the card, in big letters, was written,

I am now.

When I asked Swami He said “You always cry and say, "I want to see You now, Iwant to see you now." So I said, ‘I am now’. The V inside the Om shows that theVasanthamayam Creation is starting.

Now after I wear the Mangalya, Swami, and the Vasanthamayam Creation willcome from me. Swami will then be born under the sign of Gemini, the twins. I am bornunder the birth sign of Libra, the scales. This is a scale with two pans. Ordinarily peoplewill say, ‘he is one of twins’. Even if the twins separate and one lives in one place andone in another, they will say ‘he is a twin’. They were not be called individually, but astwins.

It is in this way that Swami and I are twins. We are Purusha Prakrithi. Though weare separate, alone, we are still twins. My star sign is the balance scale, two pans needed.A balance scale is only called as such when there are two pans. The two must balance.They are inseparable. This indicates Swami and I. Swami separated me from Him to

indicate this. He has Gemini star sign. He is not one, but two. This indicates Him leavingHis body and coming again in a form from me and entering another body.

I separated from Him. Now He will separate from me in a new form. This is thePurusha Prakrithi principle. The goddess of justice always holds the balance scales,blindfolded. This is to indicate her impartiality; all have the same justice. Thus, I removeall faults and shortcomings and give justice to all. It is for this reason alone that I havecome. All will have Mukthi. It is for this reason I am born with the balance scale in myhand. This is Swami’s Avataric task.

Swami asked me to wear the new Purusha Prakrithi Mangalya on the day ofKrishna Jayanthi. I asked Swami which sari to wear.


Vasantha : Swami, what sari should I wear on that day?

Swami : Your father Lord Shiva called Kaamadeva and asked to take My feelingsand weave them into a sari. This marriage is the union of Shiva Shakthi.As the world becomes auspicious after this, the sari is yellow and as theentire world becomes green, it has a green border.

Vasantha : Now I understand Swami. Before You gave three saris. Now again, YouYourself give.

Swami : If you search and find out, there is some happiness. Do not buy cotton oran ordinary sari. You ask them to buy a good sari.

Vasantha : What design Swami?

Swami : This is for Prakrithi, so it can be any design.

Vasantha : Swami, please give some hint?

Swami : There will be heart weaving and S is there.

After meditation, I wanted to see if we could buy the sari in Puttaparthi. I phonedYamini many times, but there was no answer. Finally, in the evening she called. I toldher about the sari, but she was unable to buy it as she was leaving for Bangalore in themorning.

Morning meditation

Vasantha : Swami, we cannot buy the sari in Puttaparthi.

Swami : I am not in Puttaparthi. I am in Madurai.

In the morning, Eddy told me that he had to go to the doctor in the evening inMadurai and asked if he could look for the sari.

Afternoon meditation

Vasantha : Swami, Eddy has gone in search of the sari.

Swami : Correct person. Just as Krishna had Arjuna, he is My friend. He knowsMy feelings.

End of meditation

Eddy searched many places and said that he saw two saris. He then describedthem to me. He said he would go the next day and buy the sari. The next day he went tothe same shop and asked for the sari. They told him a lady came at 9 pm, when theywere closing the shop and bought the sari at 9:05 pm. When Eddy told me I said,‘Swami, has done this only. As Swami did not like the sari, the lady came as the shopwas closing and bought the sari!’

He then went and searched again and found another sari. This was the correctlight yellow, green border, heart weaving and S design on the border. We placed it onSwami’s altar and He blessed it by placing a flower inside it. It was after this I askedSwami about the Mangalya. He said that it should be twin Mangalyas together. I toldSwami that my body is not eligible to wear a new Mangalya. If one thing changed in mybody, then it would be a new body. Swami then said that sure it would change. I thentold Swami that if the body did not change, then I would not wear the new Mangalya.We all then began to think how it would be; all gave suggestions. ‘Shall we make it likethis or like that’? It is in this way we thought and spoke.


Vasantha : Swami how can I wear this new Mangalya on this old body?

Swami : My life force will only enter My new body, if you wear the new Mangalya.It is only then that your body will change. The Mangalya must touch yourbody.

Vasantha : In the first marriage, I did not know who You were. At the time, I woreYour Mangalya, but You did not give anything to me. Now this marriage ison a gigantic scale. Will You not give something for this?

Swami : I will give, but do not cry. Be happy.

After this, I could not sleep.

I am Shakthi Swaroopa, Chid ananda Roopa, I am all. I am all. It is inthis way I contemplated the whole night. I then ask Swami said, “This is thecorrect start, you become all. When I told Swami that I would only wear the

new Mangalya, if one part of my body changed, He said, “It is only if youwear the Mangalya that your body will change.”

It is only then that Swami’s life force, which is within my body, will enter the newbody. When Swami left His body, His life force came into me. Now when I wear thePurusha Prakrithi Mangalya, this life force will emerge and enter Swami’s new body. Itis only then that the New Creation will begin. It is very appropriate that the feelings, ‘Iam Shakthi, I am all, I am all’, arose in me at this time. When Swami revealed this newtruth, my Prajnana awakened. All said that what I have written was very good and thatwe should make it into a song. I am now all.

Swami gave three divine messages. One of them was a picture of Radha andKrishna, another photograph of the sun rising and a body of white light descending. Thethird was a letter written on paper with Radha Krishna and the gopis on one side. InsideSwami wrote,

OM...ThanksLove,

There was also a drawing of a six-pointed star with some symbols inside. All werevery happy to see the message.


Vasantha : What is Chintamani?

Swami : You are Chintamani. You are giving all.

Vasantha : Swami in the picture, a bright body of light is seen descending.

Swami : This shows that the New Creation and I are coming. You are a gem, theChintamani in My heart.

Now let us see. We looked on the internet to see what was written about,‘Chintamani’. There we read,

Chintamani is a jewel. In Hindu and Buddhist tradition, it is the wish fulfillingstone. It is another name for Lord Ganapathi. It indicates the one who is beyond thethree states. They attain the Poorna Shanthi state. Another name for the gem is thephilosopher’s stone or Alchemy stone.

There was also a picture of Radha and Krishna. The photograph of the dawn andlight descending from the sky indicates that Swami will come again to earth in a newbody and the New Creation is born. Swami said I am the Chintamani in His heart.Swami drew this to show that Lord Vinayaka now removes all obstacles that are in theway of the Sathya Yuga. I will remove all the obstacles. At the bottom of the letter, there

were two triangles in the form of a six-pointed star. Inside some symbols or letters,there seemed to be a mantra. I asked Swami to show a proof for Chintamani.

Evening meditation

Vasantha : Swami, why have You written ‘thanks’? For whom? Why?

Swami : It is for you. You have written that you have become Shakthi.

Vasantha : Swami, what is Chintamani?

Swami : You are Chintamani. You are in My heart. You are the Chintamani in Myheart. I will tie a new Mangalya on you. I will tell you how to make it.

I then looked to see if any flower had fallen as proof for what Swami had said.There was nothing. In the evening, all went to the Garbha Kottam for arathi. At thattime, they found that the garland had broken from one side of Swami’s big picture andwas lying like a coiled snake on the floor. They brought it to show me. I was very happythat Swami had shown a proof. In the morning, I had asked Swami to show some prooffor the Shakthi song. In the morning, one-half of the garland broke and fell. Now in theevening, the other half fell as a proof for Chintamani. One shows the Mangalya, theother Shakthi. It is the proof for the marriage of Purusha and Prakrithi. The drawing ofthe Chintamani seemed to be the symbol for the Anahata, Heart Chakra.


Vasantha : Swami, the Chintamani seems to be the Heart Chakra.

Swami : That is correct. It is Shiva Shakthi. Shakthi is going up, Shiva comingdown, both unite.

Vasantha : There is also some writing or mantra? How can we make if I am not ableto understand. If I do not understand, how will the goldsmith understand?

Swami : You contemplate, you and I are one. Then you will understand.

I contemplate...

‘Swami and I are one…Which is my Mangalya? Which, which?’ I wentinto deep meditation. ‘Yes, Chintamani is the Heart Chakra! Oh, this is myMangalya. This is why it has come…’

Vasantha : Swami it is the Heart Chakra.

Swami : Yes, My heart is your Mangalya. You make it like that.

Vasantha : Where to place the blue stones?

Swami : I will tell you.

Vasantha : I am very happy Swami.

The symbol for the Kundalini’s Heart Chakra is two triangles in the form of a six-pointed star. The apex of triangle faces down and the other points up. I have writtenabout this and explained in many chapters before how Shakthi ascends and Shivadescends; the two meeting in the heart. The two triangles unite to form the six-pointedstar. This shows that Shiva and Shakthi are the inseparable twins, who merge, one intothe other. This is the Shiva Shakthi state, which Swami has shown in a wonderful way.How to make twin Mangalyas? How to stick two Pottu Mangalyas together? It is in thisway all were thinking. It is only now we understand. No one can know the ways of God. Iasked Swami many times to draw the Mangalya. He has now drawn the Chintamani andexplained all. Today Swami gave a marriage card with a picture of Lord Ganesha on theoutside. There was nothing written inside. This was another proof for the Chintamani.


Vasantha : Swami, the Purusha Prakrithi Mangalya should be made correctly. I amShakthi. Only if Shakthi’s Mangalya is perfect will You come.

Swami : You are Chintamani. You contemplate and tell.

I contemplate...

... I am Shakthi. The Chintamani Mangalya You have drawn is myMangalya. The two blue stones should be placed in the centre of the six-pointed star, the blue heart shape gem on top. The six-pointed star should besurrounded by a circle. This now is my Mangalya.

Vasantha : Swami, please show some proof for this.

Swami : This is correct. You ask them to make it like this.

After meditation I opened Sathya Sai Speaks, Volume 16 page 76 and read thewords,

Gratitude feelings...Six virtues

Oh, ‘Gratitude feelings’, is the correct proof for the ‘Thanks’ that Swami haswritten in the card and the 6 points of the star are symbolic of the Shad Gunas or sixvirtues.

Evening meditation

Vasantha : Swami, I do not want anything. I only want You.

Swami : I am only for you. You make the Mangalya how I tell you. Like theChintamani I drew, you place three blue stones in the center. If there is noroom, then put the heart shape blue stone on top.

Vasantha : Is it correct Swami?

Swami : Yes, I gave for the 14 Worlds, five elements and then nine planets asMangalyas. The Chintamani is now your Mangalya. You put the ninegems on a chain and put the Chintamani on the Mangala Sutra only.

Vasantha : Swami, I want Your pendant.

Swami : Okay, keep the pendant on the Mangala Sutra also.

Now let us see about this. The Chintamani that Swami drew is like the HeartChakra. Swami asked that we place two of the blue stones on them. Some time ago,Swami gave a small blue stone that He said represented the Heart Chakra. Swami hasnow said to place it with the other two stones if there is room, or else put it on top of theMangalya.

‘Oh Swami, we will wait until SV comes before we do anything. Only thenwe I place the order and ask them to make. Please tell me if there are anychanges’.

It is in this way I prayed. At night, we listened to Swami’s beautiful voice singingbhajan. It was wonderful. How much sweetness is there in His voice? The whole night Icould not sleep and sang bhajans.


Vasantha : Swami, what wonderful songs with beautiful words! How sweet is Yourvoice!

(I wondered, ‘How sweet is God’s voice...!’)

Swami : A mother takes her three-year-old child to an exhibition. The child looksaround at all things, is filled with wonder and asks his mother about all hesees. This is your state. It is in this way you ask Me. This is all God’snature. You are also God.

Vasantha : Swami, I cannot forget about You singing. Now tell me about the Mangalya.

Swami : You are the Chintamani in My heart. Do not put a circle around the sixpoints, but instead join each point and surround the star with a hexagon.This six-sided shape is the base of the Stupi. It is upon this you are. This isthe same as the Stupi. On top of the hexagonal base is the red lotus, this isthe Chintamani. It is from here the New Creation will begin. When theMangalya touches your neck, Vinayaka will be born. This is Omkar. It is

through your feelings of gratitude and Prema that the New Creation iscoming. You are My heart Chintamani. It is from here our feelingsemerge. Thus, make it six-sided. You then wear this on your MangalaSutra with My pendant.

Vasantha : Now I understand, I will do as You say. Swami, I am afraid, so pleaseshow Your Prema to me.

Swami : This is the Avataric task. Your feelings will be like this. Do not cry, I amalways near you.

Let us see. Swami sang a very wonderful bhajan, which was the whole Ramayana.I wondered at how much sweetness was in His the voice and the beauty of the words Hesang! How much beauty there is in each action and every movement of God. As I havenever seen the actions of God on this earth, I am filled with wonder. Swami comparedthis to a small child who goes to an exhibition with its mother. Whatever people seeexhibited in this world, they want to possess and collect for themselves. I see only thevision of Swami, the vision of God.

Swami has now said not to put a circle around the six pointed star. He asked thatwe place the two blue stones, which He has given. These represent Purusha andPrakrithi. If there is space, He said to put the small heart shape blue gem with them. Ifnot then place the blue stone above the other two blue stones. Swami said that the blueheart shape stone represents the Heart Chakra.

It tells in the Gita that God is in the form of a tiny blue light, the size of the tailend of a paddy grain inside the heart. God is in the form of this blue light as theIndweller in all. The same Chintamani is inside Swami’s heart. I will make this as aMangalya, wear it and then Omkar will arise. Before the start of Creation, Omkar isheard. It is for this reason I had been crying that Ganesha should be born as our child.Only then will the New Creation begin. This Creation comes through my feelings ofgratitude and love. I love all in the world and have learned lessons from everyone. Allare my gurus. It is for this reason I asked Swami to bestow world liberation as my GuruDakshina. Thus, a New Creation comes where all are Jeevan Mukthas.

For this reason, Swami drew the Chintamani and wrote 'Om Gratitude Love Om'.It is the heart feelings of Swami and I and that emerge outside and go through the Stupito bring a New Creation. The Chintamani concept that Swami drew is the Stupi’shexagonal base. On top of this base is the red lotus and atop of the red lotus are the sixchakras of kundalini. It is on top of these six chakras that the thousand petal goldenlotus, the Sahasrara, sits. The Chintamani is the Vishwa Brahma Garbha Kottam. It isfrom there that Swami’s and my feelings go out to the world through the Stupi. Swamiasked me to wear the new Mangalya on the day of Krishna Jayanthi. It is on that day

that His life force will enter the new body.Swami told that the Purusha PrakrithiMangalya are twins. Swami has slowlyrevealed all little by little over all these longdays. Finally, by drawing and writing He hasexplained all.

Swami gave a picture Radha andKrishna. In the picture, Krishna, who isplaying His flute, has a red cloak above Hishead covering Him. Radha stands next toHim, under the cloak and pointing in adirection. It seems that Radha is removingthe cloak from the two from inside. The twoare fully decorated with many ornaments.This is like Swami has covered Himself. Thisis not known by any. I remove the curtainand tell, ‘You come this way!’ I call to Himand I am showing Him the way to come. This will happen on the day of KrishnaJayanthi. When I wear the Purusha Prakrithi Mangalya, His life force will emerge fromme and enter the new body. Then after three months, Swami will appear to the outsideworld. This is what all the nadis and Swami have said.

The Anahata chakra has two triangles that show Shiva and Shakthi union. Thetriangle with apex pointing down shows the power of creativity. The triangle with theapex pointing upward is Shiva or Satva. This is considered as the wish fulfilling tree.Swami asks me to make a Mangalya like this. Yet, ‘Can we make the Mangalya in thismonth of Adi? I could not understand. Swami had correctly indicated the previousmarriage on May 27th. Now we could not understand how to make the Mangalya. Todayin the morning, when we were on our way to perform abhishekam in the GarbhaKottam, we saw Swami’s form in the sky in an easterly direction. Swami’s big bushy hairand His shoulder were seen by all. It was orange in color. It was like the drawing Eddyhad done of Swami.

On the Chintamani Swami drew, there are many letters. We scanned a copy andemailed it to Yamini. I asked her to see if any scholar in Bangalore could tell what themeaning was.

Today, 1 August 2011, Swami gave a picture of Krishna, Balarama and two gopas.Krishna is seen playing His flute. All of them are dancing. Nearby, are some cows andcalves. This is New Creation. In Dwapara Yuga, Brahma Deva came to test Sri Krishnaand hid all the cows, calves and cowherd boys in a cave. Realizing that this was the workof Brahma, Krishna recreated the same boys, cows and calves. At first Balarama couldnot understand. Then he saw all the gopas, cows and calves were Krishna, all KrishnaMayam. All Krishna's creations are blissful and kind for one year. The New Creation is

like this. Swami and I will shut Kali Yuga in a cave and the new Sathya Yuga will beborn. Just as the cows and cowherd boys looked the same as the ones in the cave, thesame families, same people, same nations, same animals, will appear, yet, within eachwill only be Vasantha and Sai Mayam. We two will be in all. It was Balarama only whoseeyes saw that Krishna was all. He alone knew the truth.

I attained Sathyam through sadhana. This is 72 years of one pointed focusing onSwami. I became Sai Sathyam and now separate myself in two, as Swami and Creation.For this, I have no ‘i’. Thus, all of you forget this name and form of Vasantha. It isconsciousness feeling, cosmic feeling that creates Sathya Sai Bhagavan and NewCreation. It also makes Vasantha anew. This is an Ananda Maya Creation. Here it is onlysinging and dancing with Sai Krishna.

Swami gave another picture of Vinayaka. In it he is seen sitting fully decorated ona golden throne. Yesterday, Swami gave another picture of Vinayaka. It was of our JnanaMukthi Ganesh. In the picture, I am seen performing abhishekam. He sits alone on aplinth near the road. It was only after this we built a small temple and installed theNagas. Now, after all these long years, we are constructing a new temple that may beready on the day of Krishna Jayanthi. It is for this reason Swami gave the two pictures ofVinayaka. Now, on the day of Krishna Jayanthi, Vinayaka will be born. He is the son ofAdi Moolam.

Fred then brought a picture that hefound on his desk. In the picture, I am seenstanding in a yellow and white sari. Half ofSwami’s body is seen hiding behind me.Swami has a copy of the book, ‘Last 7 Days ofGod’, in His hand. I am not wearing glassesin the picture and my hair is also not up, butflowing freely. My hair has a gold and whitehue. It is a very wonderful picture, whereSwami and I are seen united together. Swamihas given His and my picture before manytimes. But we are always separate. This is thefirst picture where we are together in a singlephotograph. All of us saw it and were veryhappy.

2 August 2011 Morning meditation

Vasantha : Swami, what is this picture ofYou and I together, the 'Last 7Days' book in Your hand?

Swami : I took the 'Last 7 Days' bookwith My own hand and they

sent you out. On that day, I also left, following behind you; only the Mayabody remaining there. Now again, I will come from you.

Vasantha : Oh Swami! It is very good.

Swami : I will come out and we will leave together after the last 7 days.

Now let us see. After I wrote the book, ‘Last 7 Days of God’, l was no longerallowed inside Prasanthi Nilayam anymore. When I was sent from Prasanthi, Swamialso left. It is through my Prema that Swami comes in a new form on the day of KrishnaJayanthi. On that day, He will enter a new body. Then three months later, He willappear outside young and anew. This form will not be bound by any. It is limitless.Prema Sai and Prema will be born in the New Sathya Yuga. Purusha and Prakrithi havenever descended as Avatars before. This is the first time they are coming here. This is aprinciple that no one can understand. In the previous ages, the Avatar came to destroythe demonic and wicked people and establish dharma. Swami and I have now come toremove the bad qualities. The demonic qualities that are present in all must be removedand good qualities established.

Today, we went to do abhishekam in the Garbha Kottam. When I took thepadukas from the tray, there were golden footprints in the shape of padukasunderneath. The same golden print appeared under the small padukas, the vigrahas ofSai Krishna, Ganesha, Vishnu with Mahalakshmi and the Ganges lingam. Swami's feettouched these gold padukas. The small padukas He touched and blessed. Swami alsogave the Sai Krishna vigraha. So, all alike had golden marks. This is to show that theGolden Yuga is coming.
