December 10, 2014 Confirmation of Service Hours Volunteer: Christopher Bowman To Whom It May Concern: We were very pleased to have had Christopher Bowman serve as a volunteer at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC since March 2012. In this time, Chris has provided 140.34 hours of volunteer service to support our patients and families. Volunteering in a hospitalized setting can often be stressful, but Chris has been able to handle all situations appropriately. He is eager to take on a multitude of tasks in his volunteer assignment primarily assisting with our Inpatient Playroom/Activity Center area in Units 9A and 6B, and bedside visits to patients facilitating play and spending time with patients and supporting their families when needed. Chris maintained patient privacy and confidentiality as well as a pleasant demeanor as he was well received by patients, families, and staff. Chris has been an excellent volunteer, proven to be reliable and dedicated. He has certainly been an asset to Children’s Hospital. If any further information is needed regarding Chris, please feel free to contact me at 412-692-3426. Sincerely, John Krysinsky John Krysinsky Volunteer Services Coordinator
