Bake a threatened species-themed dessert to raise awareness of Australia’s threatened species and Threatened Species Day! This year’s theme is ‘What’s in your backyard?’. We’re encouraging you to get out and about in your local area to discover the remarkable plants and animals that call your backyard, local park or school home and use them as inspiration for your #TSBakeOff entry. To support you in your backyard expedition, we have teamed up with Bush Blitz and their Backyard Species Discovery Project on iNaturalist. It is a fun and easy way to identify species and contributes valuable information for scientists to understand where species are living.
