Join us this fall for the Wednesday Evening Bible Study. Our study will be First and Second Thessa-lonians. We meet on
Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. starting Oct. 4 through Nov. 15. Like a tender shepherd, Paul wrote the letters of 1 & 2 Thessalonians to an early church community of believers he founded in Thessalonica, a huge city in Macedonia. These were friends he knew, loved, and missed. His pur-pose in writing was to thank them for their work of faith, their labor of love, and their continued hope in the Lord Jesus Christ . . . and His coming again. Paul was also eager to remind them of the example their faithfulness had been to those around them. His message can help all of us live out the Chris-tian life today. To sign up: Contact Lalla Mangin at 706-467-0883 or [email protected]. To assure that we have enough books, please let me know by Sept. 25.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word is celebrated at the 9:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

Jim Matthews and family would like to thank all those who offered their prayers, love and con-dolences in regard to the passing of Janice Lee Matthews. The masses offered on her behalf nationwide, even to France, will ensure her presence with the Good Lord in heaven. She loved COKAS and all her friends in the Parish Community. I'm sure the Good Lord is enjoying her presence in heaven as much as we did on Earth!

Acompañenos a celebrar
• Llega a tiempo y siéntate delante.
Reza.
2. Ten una actitud adecuada
• No esperes algo entretenido.
Ofrece a Dios tu dolor y tu sufrimiento, tu alegría y tus oraciones.
