    Victory victory through Christ

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Victory causes us to triumph

2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and He revealing through us the odor of the knowledge of Him in every place.

    Victory weapons of our warfare

    2 Corinthians 10:4& 5 For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ;

    Victory be strong

Ephesians 6:10 & 11 Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

    Victory according to the flesh

  • Who I am in Christ 1

    Nadene of http://practicalpages.wordpress.com 03/2013

    My Identity in Christ

1 I am a child of God John 1:12 But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children

of God, to those who believe on His name,

Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness

with our spirit that we are the children of God.

1John 3:1-3 Behold what manner of love the

Father has given us, that we should be called

children of God. Therefore the world does not

know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved,

now we are children of God, and it has not yet

been revealed what we shall be. But we know

that when He shall be revealed, we shall be like

Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And

everyone who has this hope on him purifies

himself, even as that One is pure.

2 I am an heir with all

    who are in Christ

Galatians 3:26-29 For you are all sons of God

    through faith in Christ Jesus.

For as many as were baptized into Christ, you

put on Christ. There cannot be Jew nor Greek,

there is neither bond nor free, there is no male

nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's

seed and heirs according to the promise.

3 I can call the Lord

    Abba Father

Galatians 4:6-7 And because you are sons, God

has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your

hearts, crying, Abba, Father. So that you are no

longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, also an

    heir of God through Christ.

    4 I am His people, a

    chosen generation, a

    royal priesthood

    1Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen generation, a

royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for

possession, so that you might speak of the

praises of Him who has called you out of

darkness into His marvellous light; you who then

were not a people, but now the people of God,

Who I am in Christ ~

5 I am the salt of the

    earth

Matthew 5:13 You are the salt of the earth, but

if the salt loses its savor, with what shall it be

salted? It is no longer good for anything, but to

be thrown out and to be trodden underfoot by

    men.

6 I am the light of the

    world

Matthew 5:14 You are the light of the world. A

city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

    7 I am a branch of the

    true vine, a channel of

    His Life

John 15:1 I am the True Vine, and My Father

    is the Vinedresser.

John 15:5 I am the Vine, you are the

branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him,

the same brings forth much fruit; for without

    Me you can do nothing.

    8 I have been appointed

    to bear fruit

John 15:16 You have not chosen Me, but I

have chosen you and ordained you that you

should go and bring forth fruit, and that your

fruit should remain; that whatever you shall

ask of the Father in My name, He may give it

    to you.

    9 I am Christs personal

    witness

John 15:16 You have not chosen Me, but I

    become new.

2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who has

    or sword?

32 I am free forever from

Gods great goal for me as His

child is that I become like Him

Colossians 3:10 and having put on the

new, having been renewed in knowledge

according to the image of Him who

    created him,

My identity is no longer in

    racial, religious, cultural or

    social ties

Colossians 3:11 where there is neither

    Greek nor Jew, circumcision and

    uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave

or freeman, but Christ is all things in

Once I know who I am in

    Christ, God focuses on my

    character

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as the elect of

God, holy and beloved, put on tender

    feelings of mercy, kindness, humbleness

    of mind, meekness, long-suffering,

    My character is developed in

    my relationships with others

    Colossians 3:13 forbearing one another

and forgiving yourselves, if anyone has

a complaint against any. As Christ

forgave you, so also you do.

Love is the highest level of

    character development

Colossians 3:14 And above all these

things put on love, which is the bond of

    perfectness.

Having Christ living in me is

the only way I can become like

    Him

Colossians 3:15-17 And let the peace of

God rule in your hearts, to which you

also are called in one body, and be

    thankful.

Let the Word of Christ dwell in you

richly in all wisdom, teaching and

admonishing one another in psalms and

hymns and spiritual songs, singing with

grace in your hearts to the Lord.

And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's

has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your

hearts, crying, Abba, Father. So that you are no
