It was scheduled to coincide with existing pagan festivals to convince Roman subjects to accept Christianity as the empire’s official religion - enshrining a celebration on par with the Pagan Solstice.

THIS FESTIVAL ILLUMINATES THE TREMENDOUS POWER THAT CONFORMITY EXERTS ON MEN Some choose the Relatively new Christmas Option: St. Nicholas was a Bishop who lived in the fourth century in a place now called Turkey. Legend has it that he was a very rich man because his parents died when he was young and left him a lot of money. He was a very kind man who helped the poor by giving secret gifts to people in need. Many of the modern accoutrements of Christmas were actually taken from an American poem called ‘T’was the Night Before Christmas. In the US Christmas didn’t become a federal holiday until 1870.

Part 4 of 4: NO ROOM IN THE INN AGAIN: His Church Trespasses His Lordship His Church kept His name but not honor the fidelity of the relationship (Bride) The Baby Jesus contemplated the mis-adventure of His bride and provided provisions for reconciliation:

His Bride would become the public Mistress of Ideology Today the high gates of - social media, journalism, politics, and “higher” education, promulgate a steady stream of deception. Baby Jesus left two powerful agencies by which we can combat deception, The Word of God (truth), and the Holy Spirit (discernment).

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect… Romans 12:2

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world… 1 John 4:1

His Sheep are not inclined to flock, preferring the illusion of prodigal adventure Christian group isolation has given rise to personal Christian isolation. Many Christians find the illusion of spiritual solace apart from the body of Christ, embracing personal liberty over the worldview of a sovereign God. Baby Jesus has provided a way to set these unknowing captives free:

Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, as you’re doing…1 Thes. 5:11

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works…Hebrews 10:24

But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend, with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship at the house of God…Psalm 55:13-14
