christmas and new year’s day masses

Christmas is among the holiest of seasons and special Masses will be offered in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel located at Mercy central campus and Mercy West Lakes to celebrate the birth of God’s only son, Jesus, in Bethlehem. On Jan. 1, the Catholic faith will honor Jesus’ mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, as we celebrate the Holy Day; the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. All are welcome to take part in these celebrations. Services are also available for viewing on central campus on channel 4.

Clearly, Christmas isn’t just for the children. Staff members, at Mercy Children’s Hospital (above photo) take a few moments to pose for a photo with Santa during his recent trip to visit children hospitalized at Mercy. The Mercy Family works very hard with our contacts in the North Pole to make Christmas as happy as possible for children who must be in the hospital during the holiday season.

‘tis the season . . .

The Mercy campus looks festive, with the sparkle of lights and decorations including this beautiful nativity scene on Laurel street, just north of the West Entrance.
