Applications receivedfrom the applicants forthis post in the pastshould be consideredvalid.

A condition should belaid for producing con-sensus letter from theaffected families at thetime of applications. Inabsence of consensusletters, applicationsfrom the applicantsshall not be accepted.

Aroadmap has beenprepared in Mad-hya Pradesh to dou-

ble the income of farmersin five years. Work is be-ing undertaken at a fastpace in various depart-ments including Agricul-ture, Horticulture, Ani-mal Husbandry, FishFarming, Forestry, Irriga-tion Expansion, Sericul-ture, Cottage and VillageIndustries. The district-level roadmap is alsoready and the village-lev-el roadmap is underway.

Agriculture productionin the year 2016-17 hasincreased to 5.44 croremetric tonne with prioritybeing given to agriculturesector in the state. Food-grain production has in-creased by 207 percent.The total foodgrain pro-duction would be 1.43crore metric tonne in theyear 2004-05 which hasincreased to 4.39 croremetric tonne in the year2016-17.

Farmers have beenprovided special facilitiesto increase pulses andoilseeds production instate as a result of whichproduction of pulses hasincreased up to 136 per-

cent in the last onedecade. The production ofpulses which would bejust 33.51 lakh metrictonne in the year 2004-05, has now increased to79.23 lakh metric tonnein the year 2016-17.Record rise has beenrecorded in the produc-tion of oilseeds in MadhyaPradesh. The productionof oilseeds which washardly 49.08 lakh metrictonne in the years 2004-05, has now increased to87.35 lakh metric tonnein the year 2016-17 inMadhya Pradesh whichamounts to a 78 percentrise.

Around 57 lakhhectare agriculture sectorarea has increased in thelast 12 years in the state.Agriculture area of Mad-hya Pradesh has in-creased to 2.49 lakhhectare in the year 2016-17. The average Agricul-ture Growth Rate of Mad-hya Pradesh in the last 4years has been more than18 percent. MadhyaPradesh is the first stateto have been achievedthis growth. Due to thesereasons, Madhya Pradeshhas been bagging the Kr-ishi Karman Award for 5years consecutively in thefield of agriculture pro-duction.

Public Relations, Water Resourcesand Parliamentary Affairs Minis-ter Dr. Narottam Mishra today

gave away letters of approval of finan-cial assistance worth Rs 5 lakh each tothe relatives of two deceased journalistsof Madhya Pradesh. This amount hasbeen sanctioned under the JournalistsHealth and Accident Group InsuranceScheme.

Dr. Mishra said that the governmentis committed to provide financial assis-tance to the families of the journalistswho died under unnatural cricum-stances. Several steps have been takenin the state for the security and honourof journalists and to provide them facil-ities.

Smt. Seema Sharma, wife of LateManish Sharma, a journalist from In-dore who died in a road mishap, wasgiven an approval letter of Rs 5 lakhand a cheque.

Similarly, Manish Jain was given anapproval letter of Rs 5 lakh following

the murder of his brother Late Kam-lesh Jain, journalist from Mandsaur asfinancial assistance. This amount hasbeen sanctioned under the United IndiaInsurance Company’s InsuranceScheme.

TheChief Minister ShivrajSingh Chouhan will holddirect dialogues with chil-dren. The programme willbe relayed directly by Do-ordarshan, Akashvaniand regional channelsand on social media from11.30 a.m.

The ‘Mil Banche Mad-hya Pradesh’ programmehas been implemented inthe state for advancementof language skill, to devel-op reading habit otherthan text books, to devel-op comprehension skillsand for multi dimensionaldevelopment of the chil-dren through co-academicactivities. Persons, whoare participating in theprogramme will visit gov-ernment primary andmiddle schools to encour-age children for readingother interesting booksalong with the text books.It may be mentioned thatthis is the third pro-gramme under the ‘MilBanche Madhya Pradesh’.Approximately 2 lakh 50thousand persons aresupposed to take part inthe programme.

CM Chouhan said that theSambal Yojana is a campaign totransform the lives of the poor.The state government hasopened its treasury to enrich thepoor. He said that there is no dif-ference in the state government’saction and words.

The Chief Minister saidthat the state government hasnot just given the slogan ofpoverty alleviation like the pre-vious government, but it has ac-tually meted out justice to thepoor. Giving information aboutthe development and public wel-fare schemes of the state govern-ment, Chouhan said that theGroup Tap Water Scheme worthRs 173 crore in Prithvipur hasbeen completed. This schemewill enable supply of water toevery house in about 150 villagesof the area through taps.

Chouhan said that the Ban-Sujara irrigation project willhelp bring greenery and prosper-ity in the region. Referring to theKen-Betwa project he said thatdiscussion is in progress with theUttar Pradesh regarding thestate’s share of water. We willget our share of water which cantransform the entire irrigationscenario of the region. Our gov-ernment has given topmost pri-ority to irrigation.

Giving information aboutSaubhagya Yojana, Chouhansaid that every village, majra-to-la has power connection now.The day is not far when everypoor person’s house will be illu-minated.

Referring to Sambal Yojana,he said that the state govern-ment is providing all facilitiesand assistance to meritoriousstudents from poor families up tohigher education.

He called upon the poor fami-lies to shed all worries regarding

the higher education of theirchildren and educate them, asthe state government will takecare of all necessary arrange-ments.
