Tlie other bullish feature was the sharp failing off in Sao Paulo receipts ay reported for the day. They were only 38.000 bags, against 68.000 the previous cuy. It waa considared too soon tor the increased surtax to hay* affected the movement, the strike had not pre- viously been a factor, the wet weather recently reported may of course have been partially responsible, but hardly to an extent explaining such a sudden dropping off too eudden a dropping off to have reflected approaching in- terior exhaustion. In the absence of any other explana- tion it waa surmised that there might be some railroad difficulties, and further fig-ures will be closely watched. The entire line of securities dealt In were notable for their weak- ness, and the decline In price was practically uaaninwta with the exception of Orphan Copper. This stock opened strong at fire and a half, and despite the fact that snijthiag tlse npon the list was under pressure and prices were tumbling npon the floors of the ex- changes. Orphan Copper gathered strength aod continued to advance as though nothing out of the ordinary was happening. In New York, thirteen thousand one hundred and fifty shares were tradad ia at prif-es ranging from five and a half to six and a qnartcr, the closing; quotation being Oral at six. In Boston, six thousand three hundred and twenty-are shares were traded m at practically the same quotations, the close in Boston being the ana* aa ta New York. Btrons at sis. Look at this any way you will, It is a most remarkable exhibition. It is eren bmm remarkable when Itis understood thnt six weeks ago Orphan Copper was selling at three and a half; that four weeks ago it was selling at four; two weeks ago it was selling at four and a half, and one week ago It was selling at five. In the first public advertisement yesterday, in which I directed attention to th» stock, I pave some facts regarding the value of the company's property. I expect to ba in a position in a very sbcrt time to print other facts abont the property whicn willcmmt the stock to advance rapidly to ten, twelve or perhaps fifteen. It is notable to-day as the one and only copper stock dealt in on either thw Xew York or Boston exchange, or in the New York or Boston curb market, which has shown a continuous advance In price during the past two months. I unqualified*! reeommanal and advise the Immediate purchase of this stock at the prevailing market quotation. lly personal opinion is that every one acting on thia advice immediately will bare oecaatsai to congratulate themselves on their good fortunes in the near future. Any stock exchange house or cvrb broker will execute orders for thia stock, or they may be sent direct to the C. F. King Company. I repeat from my public advertisement of yesterday buy Orphan Coppar bow ard watch it advance and keep on advancing. C F. KING.
