As we enter 2015, no doubt there is a sense of renewed hopeat all the possibilities that await us as a God’s people and the

You never knowwhat you're gonna get.” +eanin- Life is full of surprises younever know what will happen next. &'han) you .i)tionary*" thin) we an safely aree that while there is a ertainpreditability about how our e#eryday li#es are li#ed, we anli)ewise aree that life does offer up a fair share of surprises!Some are interestin/ some #ery eitin! Some are simply

dreadful and e#en heartbrea)in!For a follower of esus it is hard to reonile the notsoood surprises with the idea of

God bein pro#idential, protetin and safeuardin us! 'here are no easy answers for the3uestion $"f God is a God of lo#e, how ould he4,% or $.hy me%

" belie#e that God )eeps us! " belie#e God protets us! " belie#e God pro#ides for us!And " belie#e he has no fa#ourites in his hurh!

that no burden will be i#en to me whih " annot bear1/ e#ery 6surprise’ is a tool or a ser#ant

in God’s hands to fashion me into the li)eness and imae of esus2, without eeption! .hy7eause God is a faithful, o#enant)eepin God! So we ha#e e#ery reason to li#e faithfully forhim!

his fae! :et’s do it then 9 faithfully in ma)in sure that people understand properly that toreceive Christ is not a ticket to a cushier, nicer, better existence; more friens, an

Lur ontat for Eision testin haddisappeared, but with a little in#estiation " diso#ered an =GLalled Eisionare! 'hey ame to the shool to do testin, whiheliminated the nihtmare of tryin to transport the hildrensomewhere, were wonderful with the hildren and deli#ered about

20 spetales with instrutions two wee)s later!

Gi#in the hildren their lasses was#ery mo#in! Lne little boy needed #ery thi) lenses, so probably ould not seemuh without them! .hen " put them on, he srewed up his fae and )ept onblin)in, then opened his eyes wide, while a hue smile in inredulity and delihtspread o#er his fae! (e ould see properly for the first timeB " showed him hisfae in the mirror, so one of the first thins he saw properly was himself! Anotherboy stayed behind in the lassroom while the others trooped out to lunh, and

slowly made his way around the walls, loo)in arefully at eah eduational posterin turn!

Lne winter there was a bush fire whih burnt for se#eral days and they ustouldn’t ath it! 'hey were e#en ma)in ontineny plans to e#auate the amp if

neessary! 'hat e#enin she prayed to the :ord to please dosomethin, so muh of the #eld and small animals were bein

destroyed! And God ust said to her, $.hy do you bother mewith these thins, you ha#e the power%! $LhB% So she threwopen the loune urtains and rebu)ed the fire! 'he netmornin the one raner ame to her and said, $ou prayed last niht didn’t you%! $es%!

(e said/ $:ast niht the fire was omin downthis hea#ily wooded )loof and there was nothin we ould do! 'hensomethin happened that " ha#e ne#er seen before! At about nine o’lo)the fire ust seemed to fold ba) in on itself and within 20 minutes it had putitself out! 'hereafter a team was put on duty to wath for any flareups andmy team went on duty at midniht!
