A Revelation: IOP’ s are Very Important
• Benefits from requiring an Interoperability Test (IOP) grew in importance as CIM Standard evolved
• Two main types of IOP’s:– IOP to validate revisions to Standard– IOP for specific utility project (it is NOT FAT/SAT)
• Involves utility, vendor, neutral test administrator
