Course Overview & Delivery

¡  There are 2 course units for you to complete to obtain the CIM Introductory Certificate

l  What is Marketing? – 1 hour online test

l  Understanding Customer Relationships - Assignment

¡  The course is structured so that you are only required to attend one evening a week and study one unit at a time. This enables you to complete the whole programme in 6 months

The CIM Introductory Certificate is offered part-time and consists of 1 online test and an assignment.

Examination – you will attend 6 sessions for What is Marketing and have access to an online mock test for exam prep purposes.

Assignment– you will attend 6 sessions for Understanding Customer Relationships. You will be required to complete tasks within the assignment brief outside of taught sessions.

¡  How do I book? Go to www.themarketersforum.co.uk and complete the online booking form

¡  What are the Entry requirements for the CIM Introductory Certificate?"This is an 'open' qualification, which means you do not need any previous qualifications or marketing experience. However, if you are

working or have some business experience, this will certainly help you put your learning into context.

¡  When are the Registration Closing Dates?"The closing date for registration with the CIM is 5th October 2012 for the December 2012 assessment sessions.

¡  You can register for the course at The Marketers Forum anytime before the course commences. Class sizes on average are approx 15 delegates

and it is advisable to book as soon as possible to secure your place.

¡  What if I am being Sponsored by my employer? "If you have a sponsor for your course we can arrange for the invoice to be forwarded directly to them. Payment is required within 14 days or the start of the course whichever is sooner.

¡  Does TMF offer an Easy Payment Plan? "If you are self-funding we require a £200 deposit upon submitting an

online booking form and then the remainder of your course fees will be split over six equal monthly instalments. There is no charge for this service but penalties will be applied for late payment of instalments.

¡  What if I want to defer?

Courses are like airplane tickets, once it has started, your seat cannot be resold. However, in special circumstances (such as family bereavements), allowances can be made at the discretion of the course

director.
