The House
Suggests evil in the face of the house, face of Hill House seemed awake, with awatchfulness from the blank windows, it was enormous and dark, looking down over.veranda, the drive turned off on either side, to encircle the house, heavy iron knocker
that had a Childs face,
The Main Hall
The hall in which she stood was overfull of dark wood and weighty carving, dim under theheaviness of the staircase, which lay back from the farther end. Above there seemed to be
another hallway, going the width of the house; she could see a wide landing and then, across the staircase well, doors closed along the upper hall. On either side of her now were
great double doors, carved with fruit and grain and living things.
The Blue RoomThere were blue dimity curtains over the two windows, which looked out over the roof ofthe veranda onto the lawn, and a blue figured rug on the floor, and a blue spread on the bedand a blue quilt at the foot. The walls, dark woodwork to shoulder height, were blue figured
paper above, with a design of tiny blue flowers, wreathed and gathered and delicate.

When reading my extracts I envisioned how dark the environments must beand to do this I had to take into consideration the perspectives of my
environments as that is the key, the scenes need a feeling of intimidation and
to feel as if they are watching over you, if my images dont portray this thenthe concept would just fall through.
The extract helped a lot, finding the time period so that I could find a soliddesign and know what type of architecture and furniture would be required
which is Victorian helped to plan out my scenes.
The colour palette that I would need for my environments would need to bedull and low toned colours to give it a haunting feel.

HeyLekti 9 really stands out to me as the perspective seems to give it a spookykind of feel, it feels like its at the same height as me like I'm walking through it
myself it pretty cool. I also really like 16 for the lighting and shading you had doneon the rocks.

Feedback Lekti has given: I really like no2, the gate has a very dark and scarylook to it. And the background and foreground contrast each other nicely.
