Cinimation is a San-Francisco based animation and feature film production company dedicated to quality filmmaking and storytelling. Our offices in China employ talented, experienced, and dedicated animation staff, and our US office comprises some of the greatest filmmaking and animation talent found anywhere. Our services and products include:

Our offshore production facility allows Cinimation to produce films and animation at a significantly lower cost than US-based production companies—approximately 50% requiring just half the budget of animated features today.
In addition to producing highly creative and compelling 3D animation for films, DVDs, and games, Cinimation is also a technology company which develops and licenses animation software. These products provide cutting-edge technology and software for creating, revising, and delivering animation and 3D graphics. Our core product, MediaTrax, allows artists and directors to view and make changes collaboratively and remotely, before final rendering, providing huge savings in terms of both time and production costs. Our other products provide new ways to deliver animation, giving our clients competitive advantages and new business opportunities.

“ About Derring-Do”
Set in an enterprising tiny animal community in the backyard of an eccentric grandfather's ranch, a group of seven young friends embark on a journey to save a dying caterpillar from insecticide poison. However, the evil rat that planted the poison has other plans for them and the human family staying at the ranch. A high-adventure plot, unique hip-hop flavor, rich characters, powerful visual art all splash a refreshing new style and stylization to the canvas of 3D animated family cinema.

“ Short Films”
Cinimation's first series of shorts follows the characters Group Captain Lionel Mandrake, Pierce "Parachute" Poindexter, Freddy "Boomerang" Walaroo, and Jean-Pierre Montage-Boire, four mosquito characters from the feature film Derring-Doo. The foursome live in an intricately constructed and totally insane fantasy world, a world in which they are World War One Ace pilots. Previews for the short films are below: (6.5 MB mpeg video files)
