Organization structure and responsibilities

• The IET in London – Organizer of CIRED 2013- Financially responsible- Contract with Conference centre, Accommodation Service providers etc

and all practical details- Administration of delegates registration, contracts with Exhibitors etc.- Conference advertising and promotion

• Contribution from the Host country- Opening Forum programme- Sponsorship promotion- Support with contacts within the host country

We have as well the ambition to include all the Nordic countries

Coordinated by the CIRED Swedish National Committee

• Opening Forum programme- To be dominated by the host country- Invite key-note speakers (primarily from Sweden)- Plan the Opening Forum programme – well balanced with interesting

themes attracting managers and experts• Sponsorship

- Support CIRED with contacts to presumptive sponsors and to promote the sponsorship opportunities

- Find solutions to give sponsors good visibility during the conference- Use the network within the country and CIRED for promotion of the

sponsors (e.g. special activities or contacts)

Recourses in Sweden

• Stockholm Visitors Board- Have supported by organising meetings, conference centres site

inspections, visits at possible gala dinner venues, promotion of Sweden and Stockholm etc. during the evaluation process

- Will follow the entire process and gives support when needed (a meeting with presumptive sponsors is now discussed)

• Kistamässan (Artexis Nordic AB) - Kistamässan has been selected for CIRED 2013 by the IET, London- The IET has contract for the whole conference centre Kistamässan on

10th – 13th June 2013 • Congrex Sweden AB (Administration of hotel booking etc.)

- Congrex Sweden has been contracted by the IET for CIRED 2013- Hotels in Stockholm have been reserved for CIRED 2013- Scandic Victoria Tower Hotel at Kistamässan will be the “head quarter”

for the CIRED committees
