Great News for the City’s Recycling Program! Single Stream recycling is now available in the City of Easton. This means that you no longer need to separate your recyclables—paper products may now be mixed with plastic, glass and aluminum. While we will still accept materials that are separated, we are hoping to encourage more residents to participate by making it easier than ever to recycle. Please note that this only applies to recycling and that any recyclable materials must always be separated from trash. Additionally, please note that all residents who are serviced by Raritan Valley Disposal are eligible to earn valuable rewards through RecycleBank ® just by recycling. For account information or technical assistance please contact RecycleBank ® at 888-727-2978. If you do not yet have a bar code sticker on your city recycling can please contact the Public Works Department for more information.

Garbage Preparation and Pickup InformationPlease locate your residential area on this map.Colors indicate which day of the week your pickup will be.

For example: the green solid and striped sector have Monday pickup,

the yellow solid and striped areas have Tuesday pickup, and so on.

If your property is in a SOLID color sector, you are considered ZoneA for recycling pickup. Please see reverse side for your exactpickup dates.

If your property is in a STRIPED color sector, you areconsidered Zone B for recycling pickup. Please seereverse side for your exact pickup dates.

Each household is limited to four

(4) 32-gallon containers or the

equivalent volume each week.

Construction debris may also be

substituted for one can per week

and is limited to the following:

drywall, plaster, lath, roofing shingles

and lumber– cut down to maximum

length of three (3) feet. Yard waste may

also be substituted but will be counted as

part of your limit. No single bag or container

may weigh more than forty (40) pounds.

n 1 BULK ITEM PER WEEK LIMIT.

Households are limited to one (1) bulk item per

week. Bulk items typically will include:

n 4 CONTAINERS (Or Equivalent) PER WEEK LIMIT.

• Refrigerator*• Air Conditioner*

*ALL BULK ITEMS WITH REFRIGERATION

must be certified as Deactivated Free of

Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and

Hydrofluorocarbons (HCFCs)as required under

Section 608 of the E.P.A. Clean Air Act.

• Washing Machine or Dryer

• Water Cooler*• Freezer*

n BRUSH &YARD WASTE

Equivalent of 2 bags or 2 cans ofbrush and yard waste, no more than

40 lbs. each, may be dropped off at the cityrecycling center, located at 500 Bushkill Drive.

Drop-off must occur between the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Seasonal eveningpickup may also be available by calling 610-250-6680. There isno limit on leaf drop off. No grass clippings will be accepted.
