City of Richmond Bylaw 9730 Permissive Exemption (2018) Bylaw No. 9730 The Council ofthe City of Richmond enacts as follows: PART ONE: RELIGIOUS PROPERTIES PERMISSIVE EXEMPTION 1.1 Pursuant to Section 224(2)(f) of the Community Charter, the religious halls and the whole of the parcels of land surrounding the religious halls shown on Schedule A are considered necessary to an exempt building set apart for public worship, and are hereby exempt from taxation for the 2018 year. 1.2 Pursuant to Section 224(2)(f) of the Community Charter, the portions of the parcels ofland and improvements surrounding the religious halls shown on Schedule B are considered necessary to an exempt building set apart for public worship, and are hereby exempt from taxation for the 2018 year. 1.3 Notwithstanding Sections 1.1 and 1.2 of this bylaw, no additional exemption from taxation pursuant to Section 224(2)(f) will be granted to any parcel of land for which an associated building is not exempted by the British Columbia Assessment Authority pursuant to Section 220(1)(h) ofthe Community Charter. Permissive Exemption (2018) Bylaw No. 9730

The Council ofthe City of Richmond enacts as follows:

PART ONE: RELIGIOUS PROPERTIES PERMISSIVE EXEMPTION

1.1 Pursuant to Section 224(2)(f) of the Community Charter, the religious halls and the whole of the parcels of land surrounding the religious halls shown on Schedule A are considered necessary to an exempt building set apart for public worship, and are hereby exempt from taxation for the 2018 year.

1.2 Pursuant to Section 224(2)(f) of the Community Charter, the portions of the parcels ofland and improvements surrounding the religious halls shown on Schedule B are considered necessary to an exempt building set apart for public worship, and are hereby exempt from taxation for the 2018 year.

3. 7 Pursuant to Section 224(2)( d) of the Community Charter, the whole or portions of land and improvements shown on Schedule I are hereby exempt from taxation for the 2018 year;

PART FOUR: MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

4.1 Schedules A through I inclusive, which are attached hereto, form a part of this bylaw.

4.2 Permissive Exemption Bylaw 9575 is here by repealed in its entirety.

4.3 This Bylaw is cited as "Permissive Exemption (2018) Bylaw No. 9730.
