Citybus Launches Urban Kowloon Route 22

(21 June 2018, Hong Kong) In conjunction with the population growth of the new Kai Tak

development area, Citybus will introduce Urban Kowloon Route 22 from Sunday, 24 June,

operating between Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and Kowloon Tong Festival Walk via Hong Kong

Children’s Hospital, Kowloon Bay Business Area, Richland Gardens, Kai Yip Estate, Kai Ching and

Tak Long Estate, San Po Kong, Kowloon City and Kowloon Tong. The full fare is HK$4.6. Its daily

service hours from Kai Tak Cruise Terminal are from 5:40am to 11:40pm; from Kowloon Tong

Festival Walk are from 5:45am to 12:15am, with a headway of 30 minutes. Real-time “Next Bus”

arrival enquiry service is available on Route 22. Passengers may visit the Citybus website or

download the NWFB & Citybus Mobile Application to check the estimated arrival time of the next

3 departures within an hour for all bus stops of this bus route.

Multiple new Octopus Bus-Bus-Interchange (“BBI”) concessions for Route 22 with New World

First Bus Route 702, 796C, 796E and 796X, and Citybus Route 20, A22, E22, E22S, and E23 will

be introduced, providing passengers with multiple transportation options.
