Civic Theatre’s Spring Awakening– Cast Packet
Welcome (or welcome back) to Civic Theatre of Allentown. We appreciate the commitment of time and talent that you are giving to our theatre, and we look forward to an excellent production of Spring Awakening. BEFORE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th YOU MUST…
Send Christine Poole, an e-mail or use the website form. Here’s what needs to be in the e-mail:
1) Your bio (cast and crew). -it must be no longer than 125 words (your name and role(s) do not count against this total). -it should be included in the e-mail body, and not as an attachment. -NEW THIS YEAR… you can submit your bio through CivicTheatre.com. The Spring Awakening Cast Biography Form is under the “Cast Info” tab. www.civictheatre.com/category/cast-information/ -please refer to yourself in third person. -please use complete sentences.2) Your headshot (cast only). -this should be included as an attachment. -JPEG format is preferred, please do not use Word. -fileshouldbeHigh Resolution (300 dpi). The size should be no larger than 4MB, but no smaller than 1MB. -all headshots should at least look professional – please no Facebook self-shots.

Medical Release

Civic Theatre Circle
William says, “Be a part of the Civic Theatre Circle.” The Circle consists of any adult cast member who performs at the theatre during the season and is designed to help defray production costs. For a donation of $20 per person (and you only need to donate once a season to be part of the ‘circle’), you will be named in the program as a member of the Circle. The $20 is fully tax deductible. This membership also entitles you to
‘staff rate’ tickets – 15% off single tickets for one full year! Fill out the attached form and give it to the stage manager with your $20. You will receive a letter of thanks from Civic that will include your discount code!
Comp Tickets
Each cast and crew member is entitled to two free tickets to either of the opening weekend shows of Spring Awakening (Friday, October 11 at 7pm, or Saturday, October 12 at 8pm). Comps must be reserved in advance, and on the phone or in person – you cannot purchase comps online. The sooner you reserve them, the better your seats will be. And of course, youmayalsopurchaseadditionaltickets.BoxOfficehoursarecurrentlyMon.-Fri.9am-5pm.Wewillhaveextendedhoursduringshowweeks.TheBoxOfficephonenumberis610-432-8943.More comp tickets can be earned by helping Civic to sell playbill ads – read below …
Advertising Form
Asyouknow,CivicTheatreisanon-profitorganizationthatdependsonmuchmorethanticketrevenuetokeeprunning.Advertising in Civic’s playbills are a crucial source of income to us, and an excellent way for a local business to reach the Lehigh Valley’s arts-minded population. If you know someone who may consider placing an ad in the playbill for Spring Awakening, please pass this form along to them. Ad space can also be used to congratulate a cast/crew member.
We will give you one more comp ticket to use for opening weekend should you secure an ad reservation for Civic between now and September 20th. Please have the interested business contact Christine Poole using the information on the form, or send the interested business’s information to Christine, and she will contact them.
Parking
Parking near the theatre is limited. Please do not park in the parking lots of neighboring businesses, as you are likely to be ticketed or towed. You may park in the Wells Fargo Bank parking lot provided the bank is closed, and you can safely ignore the street-parking time limits on evenings and weekends. On show nights, please try to park on Allen or Liberty Streets.
