The Sno-King Hockey Association is located in the greater Seattle area. This team plays mainly against teams from Vancouve- and the Fraser Valley and also plays in tournaments in other parts of British Columbia. This year's team is made up of eleven 12 year olds and six 13 year olds. In play this year the team record is 13 wins and 6 loses. This is the team’s first time at the Prince George tournament and from here they plan to play in the Washington State Championships. Mel’s Sport Shoppe plays in a league consisting of teams from Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops and Penticton. The Kelowna team has won 3 of 4 games played so far this year and is made up of two 12 year olds and fifteen 13 year olds. The team attended the tournament last year and are again looking forward to coming to Prince George, having a good time and improving on their last year’s performance. Fort Saskatchewan, St. Albert, Red Deer, Medicine Hat and Lethbridge are the others terms that play in the league thus they spend a lot of time traveling throughout Alberta for their games. Their current record is 5 wins and no losses. This year’s team is made of three 12 year olds and fourteen 13 year olds and are the defending tournament champions. The "Jets, a perrenial leader in their league are again hoping to repeat as champions.
