CKI 101Georgia District of Circle K International
What is Circle K International
Circle K International is one of Kiwanis’ sponsored youth programs (one of the members of the Kiwanis Family branch).
We are the largest collegiate community service organization in the world, with over 13,000 members in 17 different countries.
Circle K International does more service per member than any other Kiwanis Family branch.
The Kiwanis Family
K-Kids: The Elementary School Branch, with 33,000 members.
Builder’s Club: The middle school branch, with 42,000 members.
Key Club: The high school branch. It is the oldest and largest high school community service program in the world.
Circle K International (CKI): This is us! CKI is the largest collegiate community service organization in the world.
Kiwanis: Our Parent Organization. Aktion Clubs: A Kiwanis Sponsored Organization
for adults with disabilities.

CKI Clubs
Consists of: Executive Board of Officers
President, Vice President, Sec, Tres, maybe Editor
Committee Chairs Leads Committees within a club (ex:
fundraising, service, social and Kiwanis Family Relations)
Members (that’s us!) Clubs are the core structure of the
organization. Every member is part of a club, and clubs are the ones who lead their members.

Members who “move up” to District & International levels are like… volunteers. Clubs “contribute” members continually serve up.

Executive Officers: Governor, D. Sec, D. Tres and D. Editor
Lieutenant Governors (up to 7): Oversee a division (an area within a district) Several clubs together in an area make up a
division. Several divisions make up a district. Example: Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia
State University, Atlanta University Center, University of West Georgia and Columbus State University make up the Metro Division.
