Term 4 - Important Dates to
Remember
A note from the Principal
Welcome to the week 4 Clairgate Chronicle for this
term.
Our Clairgate Public Speaking Super Stars
Yes – it’s official – we are the champions - again! Huge
congratulations to our Public Speaking Team who
performed at Plumpton Public School last fortnight –
Alana Bolan, Taleeya Ilagan, Liam Ross and Zane
Ulberg. All 4 students spoke very well and contributed
to our overall win… Liam won the Stage 2 section,
Zane came 4th, Alana came 4th in the Stage 3 section
and Taleeya came 2nd in this section – what superstars
- well done everyone.
Kindy Orientation
We have welcomed over 60 2017 Kinders to our first
Kindergarten Orientation session. The children had a
wonderful time in the Kindy classrooms with Mrs
Linnert, Mrs Murray and Miss Attinger while the
parents met in the hall. We look forward to our next 2
sessions – today and Wednesday, 16th November at
2.00pm.
Outstanding Teachers at Clairgate
Last Friday we celebrated World Teachers Day in NSW
and I want to acknowledge the amazing teachers we
have at Clairgate. They care for the children and go
the extra mile to ensure your children achieve their
potential. They always do the “extras” of which many
may be unaware – overnight excursions, staying back
for discos, parent meeting sessions, performances…all
of these are extras that our amazing teachers want to
do for your children. A huge thank you to our
wonderful teachers and staff for all their hard work.
