Clan is a childrens TV channel from the Spanish pub-lic service broadcaster TVE. Until 1 January 2007 it hadtime-shared with TVE 50 Aos which has since closed.The service now broadcasts 24 hours a day. The channelis available free on digital terrestrial television (known asTDT in Spain) and onDigital+. Although the channel pri-marily screens programming for children aged 12 and un-der, youth programming is shown during the evening andnight (for example Dawson Crece, or Dawsons Creek).A mixture of Spanish and foreign programming is shown,all in the Spanish language. Both live-action and anima-tion programming is featured on the channel.
