AUTUMN WINTER 2016 COLLECTIONThis season was inspired by true adolescence and the idea of a boy facing manhood. He is coming to terms with his new found independence, and wearing the clothes he wants to wear, finally. He is social, popular and effortlessly well-dressed yet faced with the idea that responsibility is fast approaching. He knows he needs to smarten up, and he knows he should wear a thick, warm coat during Winter, but he doesn’t want to lose his personality or jeopardise his identity.

The ease of getting dressed is essential, and the signature white drawstring waistline features throughout the collection. Large bellowing trousers are premiered this season as the ultimate loungewear luxe element to the brand and expresses the attitude of our boy perfectly. The signature fabric has, again, been beautifully constructed with matt lycra bonded to cotton jersey, for a sleek and vivid feel of both colour and texture. This artisanal attribute makes up a large part of the range, and adds a luxurious quality to wearable clothes.

Outerwear plays a key part in the collection with the popular Bomber Jacket returning with added details for a progressive spin on day to day sportswear. A three-quarter length coat is the hero luxury outerwear piece. It is constructed like it’s Dad’s prized overcoat that he has dreamt of wearing when picturing himself as a “grown up” but can’t quite believe this day has come. Never forgetting his stylish identity, this otherwise traditional piece has a huge ‘C’ emblazoned on the back for an assured sense of self.

Slogan tees and jumpers speak through the range as key entry point pieces, and real signature identity items. There is a sense of accessibility this season, which was also felt with the launch of the online store in November 2015 and the wearability in the range.
