Issue 3 Oak Lodge School

Class 5 students were Tudor ‘stars’ for the day at Hatfield House. We met
Gary from the Tudor period. Gary told us about Henry’s six wives and he
showed us paintings of them. He told us Henry’s three children lived here! We
made our own shields and danced to Tudor music. We saw the gardens on a
beautiful sunny day and Gary showed us Tudor animals on the farm. What a
great day!
The Sixth form Drama Group are going to perform Romeo and
Juliet at the Arts Depot on Thursday 26th November.
On Thursday they participated in a cast workshop with another
secondary school. Everyone worked really hard on their acting skill
and all the adults were very proud of every Oak Lodge student as
they showed maturity, independence and kindness when working
with the other school.
