STANFORD REUNION HOMECOMING WEEKEND: OCTOBER 21–24, 2010 CLASS O F 1975 Dear Classmate, Our 35th Reunion is October 21-24, just two months away! If you’re planning to come, you can skip the rest of this letter and go right to the enclosed registration form. If you haven’t decided yet, take a look at the enclosed registration guide and check out the incredible range of activities, events and academic programs over the course of Reunion Homecoming Weekend. Yes, the weekend holds something for everyone, and you can make it whatever you would like it to be. Spend time with old friends at our Class Party at the Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club or at our Mini-Reunion Celebration at the Arrillaga Alumni Center. Catch the Stanford spirit during our tailgate on Saturday and then cheer the Cardinal to victory against Washington State that afternoon. Feed your brain with an incredible variety of intellectual programs including our ’75 Class Panel discussion on Friday afternoon, the Roundtable at Stanford University on Saturday morning, or the more than 40 Classes Without Quizzes taught by Stanford faculty throughout the weekend. Worried you will not know anyone who is attending? Peruse the enclosed “Look Who’s Coming” list. Chances are, you will see a number of familiar names of folks who are already planning to attend. If not, then reach out to your classmates and encourage them to attend with you! Don’t worry if you haven’t kept in touch with classmates. Reunion Homecoming provides plenty of chances to renew connections and forge new friendships with people who share your current interests. Opportunities to be back on campus and in the company of members of the incomparable Class of ’75 don’t come along that often. Even if you can’t come for the entire weekend, plan to visit for just a day or two. You’ll be glad you did! Sincerely, Reggie Turner Events Chair P.S. Your reunion is whatever you want it to be – you can sign up just for the events that most interest you. Remember when...
