• Home Sewing Machine in Good Working Order

• Manual for your machine (For any problem solving)

• Free Motion foot (or darning foot) that fits your machine. I personally like a foot that is open and not the small closed opening, but either one will work

• 2 Full bobbins

• 90/14 microtex or topstitch needles for your machine.

• Notebook to practice designs. I use a small drawing pad

• Pen and Pencil

• At least 20 quilt sandwiches (16” or larger) for class. They are made up of a solid fabric for the top, your choice of backing, and a piece of batting in between.

• Contrasting threads sized 40 weight for the top and 50 weight for the bobbin. If you have muslin top on your quilt sandwich, you need a darker thread so you can see your stitching.

• Free motion gloves (should have rubber dots on the finger tips).

• Supreme slider or the Benartex slider

You will have to practice at home so the free motion will be easier. Bring in your practice pieces so you can see your progress. As everyone says who does sew free motion, the keyword is :Practice, Practice, Practice! We’ll have fun
