FIRST ATTEMPT

ORIGINAL SEAT

base plate after removing the rexine cover and the foam

adding hard rubber-foam towards the back.Another large layer of this material was added, missed the picture.

putting the original seat foam over the base plate. scooping the material from centre.

adding additional material towards the back, for lower back support.

shaping /finishing the material

covering the entire seat with a thin layer of foam (thickness:1/4 of an inch)

putting a fresh tailor-made rexine cover.

RESULT:

The Experiment was NOT successful.The raised lower back support felt good,but the angle was too steep and pushed

my butt towards the tank.

Overall, not very happy with this modification.
