I have had Rosie for about 5 years now and have been doing some Parelli
with her for the majority of that time. As I am away at university this year
the plan was to sell Rosie onto another home where she would be able to
teach somebody else as much as she has taught me. Unfortunately last year
Rosie developed a lameness. We have had some Bowen treatment, acupuncture, chiropractor and anti-
inflammatory drugs which have all helped a bit but she is still not sound. We have had the vet out to
her a few times but her injury just can’t seem to be diagnosed.
Because Rosie is no longer able to be ridden we are
looking for the right home to take Rosie as a paddock
mate. She would still be able to do some light
groundwork and go for walks being led. Rosie is a
lovely, good-natured pony. She is good with most
traffic (sometimes tractors and trailers will startle
her a bit). She isn’t usually the dominant horse in the
paddock! She is mostly LBI.
Rosie will only go to the right home where she will be
looked after the way she deserves in her retirement.

Gorgeous, chilled out horse. Super friendly, always
straight up to the fence to greet you when you arrive.
Loves attention, loves being ridden and doing ground
games. Level 2 groud games.
Left brained, nothing's a problem for her, very chillaxed.
Has had light riding over the past year and just thrives on it. Hasn't been jumped much but has a
great natural jump on her so good potential there. Selling as owner is chronically ill.

Free Lease Zander is a young 5 year old station breed x Tb, he has been recently started by Scott O’Malley in
November 2012.
Unfortunately I am unable continue with his training this year, I really don’t want him sitting in
paddock, so I am looking for a kind Knowledgeable and experienced rider, to ride at my property or
lease until Jan 2014, he has a lovely nature but is inexperienced, he has been doing level one and two
Parelli. It would be fantastic if someone wanted to continue playing with him. Even just a lot of
hacking would do him the world of good.

Autumn recieved his grounding in Parelli
with his previous owner/breeder. I bought
Autumn about a year ago for our
daughter, whom wasn't experienced
enough for him, so he has been ridden over the last six months by a more experienced rider. She has
been expanding his experiences & has begun to study Parelli. He has been regularly ridden out in a
rural setting; had trips to the beach; taken to Pony Club; attended a weekend Pony Club camp; and a
Jacki Chant FreeStyle Workshop; and generally given alot of regular love & attention.
His current rider has recently recieved her D+ certificate on him. He is easily jumping Introductory
level (65+cms) & showing alot of potential. In the last few weeks he has been introduced to Hunting by
attending two Childrens hunts. At the latest hunt he was part of a group which jumped the last six
consecutive jumps.
Autumn is good to catch, barefoot trim, drench & float. He needs a bold, understanding, experienced
rider & home.

I have had Charlie for six years now, and we have come a long way.
Charlie is a stunning, moderate/ extreme LBE. He is a power of fun,
has fantastic liberty with flying lead changes, playing in level 3 / 4 on
line, (hoping to send in film very soon!)is very expressive and moves
very well, loves people, good to float, trim. Cover etc. He has been
bare foot for the last six years. Great ground manners, but very
quick to pick up if you are not savvy enough! Personality plus with high
play drive.
He lives next to pigs, goats, cows and dogs. He loves going places,
great in company or on his own and all the girls love him. He is a good doer
We have been on the last two Murchison Horse treks with 40 other riders, the trek lasting 3 days of
6hr rides, up hills, down dales, through rivers and over bridges. This was all done at the walk. Done
lots of beach rides, some camping over night at the coast, Charlie penned in with tape but no power.
Riding at 3am by the moonlight, most awesome!
Charlie was meant to be my forever horse, but I am not a forward enough rider for him. He can be
quite opinionated and sometimes
argumentative which can involve head tossing
and bucking, he was referred to me as “a man’s
horse” when I first got him. We have been to
Parelli clinics, at least one yearly, over the last
six years, with both Jackie and Sandy.

Dingmac Billy Do “Billy” is a 4.5 yo bright chestnut
gelding, unofficially measured at 144.5cm. He is by Welsh
Cob Machno Sportsman (imp UK) out of TB Lady of Leisure.
Unusually for this breed cross he is not the cleverest of
ponies, and takes time and patience to learn something new
– but when he has got it, it sticks! He can also take
repetition without getting bored really quickly – dressage
potential???
He was inclined towards being a right brained introvert but has benefited heaps from being our lawn
mower over the summer, just hanging round the buildings, nosing round the washing line, stepping over
chickens and playing dogs etc., he has really learned to think before he reacts.
Billy has been gently started under saddle and was happy to walk and trot up the road in company and
take the lead when asked. He has had a couple of
months off while we were busy with other things but is
ready to go again. A really nice kind boy for a competent
teenager or small adult to take forward. $4000 inc

Also for sale: Dingmac Carte Blanche 3.5 yo full sister to Billy Do. CB is clever and just loves human attention, she
will chase away any competitors to make sure she has you all to herself!
She is good to handle in the paddock, for foot trimming etc but is as yet unstarted – a blank canvas to
make your own. Also around 144cm but may grow a little more. Great sport pony potential.

Big Black Quarter Horse Mare
“Rata” is 159cm (15.2hh+) black 9 years
old Quarter Horse mare and she is
registered with AQHANZ as: Black Gold
Q1896.
Her sire is: Zippability Q1051 and her
dam is: Dakota 1/95/1434
I started her back in 2007 as a three year old and she was one of the nicest horses I have ever
worked with. A right brain introvert (sometimes extrovert) she was easy to form a relationship with.
She was really nice to ride, doing her stops, turns, sideways, and backwards at liberty out in the open.
She has smooth gaits, (pleasure bred quarter horse) is friendly and easy to teach, has no vices, is
good to worm, shoe, and float.
In 2009 Rata was sold to a guy who went off to live in Australia without ever using her. Rata just sat
in the paddock and bred a few foals so she has gone back a bit being unused for so long. I have her
back now and am currently working with her again to get her back up to speed.

Alonzo Turbo has been a treasure to ride and learn from, I have owned him since 2007 and got to
understand his true playful character. Unfortunately with University ahead I am unable to give Turbo
the attention he deserves. Turbo has completed level 1 & 2 of the Parelli program we me and the lady
before me so he is a great tutor and I have partially completed some level three techniques.
He and I have been on several of Jackie’s courses both in Christchurch and Nelson.
Turbo is good fun once you get to know him he is a left brain extrovert which means he loves to play
he is kind natured and wouldn’t hurt a soul. We believe Turbo is 22years of age he has very good
health and had a lot of energy when it comes to trekking, he has been on many trail rides, we live at
the gate of forestry so he enjoys trekking, river crossings, and really enjoys ground work that gets
him thinking. Having played the Parelli games he is able to cope with any situation and tight spaces,
he is such a pleasure to work with. Only a loving home will be considered as he will be sadly missed, we
had hoped to keep him forever but he needs somebody to play with he is not ready for the paddock
yet! HE IS A ONE IN A MILLION HORSE.
Turbo is wormed every 10-12 weeks and Farrier - shoes every 6-7 weeks, he has had an annual check
by the vet (WOF) , his teeth have been done annual since 2007, his selenium , magnesium levels are
checked also, sheath cleaned. He gets the full WOF to check he is fighting fit each year and we have
had no problems at all.
We have the several lengths of Parelli ropes, halter, his saddle is a treeless, he has two winter rugs.

KELSIE – CONNEMARA PONY
Kelsie is a 13.5hh pony. She is a dark bay mare, Keslie is 21yrs. I have
been working on level 2 Parelli with her, she is a fun little pony to have
around, loves cuddles & scratches! Kelsie is a left brain INT/EXT on
the horseanality chart. She is great with floating, and to catch from
the paddock, also great with the farrier and worming etc.
Kelsie is comfortable with all terrain, she is fine with water crossings, beaches and I have ridden her in
endurance events where she has come 1st, 4th and 5th. She will be more than happy to play in the
paddock, overall Kelsie is an easy going pony. Kelsie has done a lot of Parelli courses with Jackie Chant
both with me and her previous Parelli owner & always likes to talk to other horses. I have owned Kelsie
since 2009, this is a very sad sale for me as she has so much to offer.
Kelisie is such a lovely pony to play with, she gave me so much confidence as she loves trekking out and
we live on the edge of forestry, if you are looking for a pony to take you further into the Parelli
program, or help you to progress on your Parelli journey, she is a great all round pony, even my non
horsey friends have found her a breeze to ride, she is very calm.
Health: She has an annual vet check every August, her selenium/magnesium levels have been monitored
and maintained at the correct level, she is wormed every 10 -12 weeks her teeth are checked annually
and the Farrier re-shoes her every 6-7 weeks.

Natural Performer for sale I have a 16.5 Natural Performer for sale, its standard width. I
have owned it since new. I have changed to a Superwide now for
Belle.
As per the photos it is in excellent condition. Lightly used to be
fair, and it still has a squeak.
