Father of behavior modification in the classroom. He believed that a student’s behavior could be reshaped through the use of reinforcements. Classroom Management: Providing Compliments, approval and encouragement. Ratio of five compliments for every one criticism is seen as the most effective in altering behavior in a desired manner.
