Claytex – Software, Consultancy, Training Claytex is an engineering consultancy that specialises in systems engineering, modelling and simulation. Our core competency is in the modelling and simulation of complex multi-domain systems using Modelica and FMI. In addition to working on customer projects, we develop a number of Modelica application libraries and FMI based tools. Established in 1998, Claytex has been working with Modelica since 1999 on a wide variety of customer projects. We have helped with the modelling, simulation and analysis of aircraft fuel systems, combined heat and power fuel cells, automotive engines, powertrain and vehicle dynamics, heat pumps and thermal management, electrical energy storage as well as the application of these into the demanding environments of Formula 1, IndyCar and NASCAR racing. Automotive products are complex multi-domain systems that must work well together as a single system to deliver the experience that today’s consumer expects. The ability to create a single model that combines every aspect of the vehicle in one simulation helps achieve this goal more efficiently than trying to compare and correlate results from multiple discrete tools. Applications range from subsystem and component design to complete real-time vehicle models used to support driver in the loop simulators and controller calibration. Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI) Blockset extended to other tools

The FMI Blockset has been extended to

provide support for the simulation of FMU’s in

Microsoft Excel in addition to Simulink. The

latest release of the FMI Blockset for Simulink

supports FMI 1.0 Co-simulation and FMI 2.0

Model Exchange and Co-simulation standards.

The new release of the FMI Blockset for Excel

supports FMI 2.0 Co-simulation.

Updated Modelica libraries

Our existing portfolio of Modelica Libraries

have been updated for the latest releases of

Dymola and CATIA DBM.
