JOA was established in 1998 and has grown into an

international organization with its headquarters and

R&D facilities in Delft, The Netherlands. Regional offices

have been set up in the USA, Latin America and Russia.

The background of our company is applied fluid

dynamics for high performance Dust and Vapor

Extraction Systems and Microclimates.

Our philosophy

With a detailed understanding of the synergy between

the production process and the extraction system, a

Our History Our roots date back to 1998, when JOA was first established in Delft, The Netherlands. JOA Ontwerp / Advies B.V., as we were originally known, built their name and credibility on providing expertise in the field of applied fluid dynamics for the purpose of designing high performance dust and fume collection systems. With the success in Europe, JOA expanded to North America in 2004, and with this change, came an emphasis on new and growing markets for dust and fume control in the US, Mexico and Canada. Over the years, JOA North America, LLC, developed our own advanced technologies, innovative concepts and holistic project implementation methodology which provided sustainable solutions for our customers.

A New Era Begins In 2018, the founding members of JOA North America, LLC, purchased the company from its parent. From this new ownership group, we have embarked on an exciting mission to provide a cleaner, safer and healthier work environment within our customer’s facilities. To better serve our customers and fulfill our mission, JOA has established ourselves as a complete sales/ design/ fabrication/ installation group with over 60 years of combined industrial ventilation experience. In 2019, we have changed our name to JOA Factory Exposure Solutions, to demonstrate our focus and commitment on this new journey to provide a more comprehensive service to our customers!

What We Do We are a full-service provider for robust, effective and sustainable industrial ventilation systems for a wide variety of manufacturers. From the initial plant ventilation study to the installed system start-up, validation and customer training, JOA strives to achieve a high performance emissions control system which meets and exceeds the customer’s expectations. By working together with the operators and maintenance personnel, we create a tailor-made solution for each customer. For existing plants, we are specialists in system trouble-shooting, optimization and upgrades. For upgrades and new installations, JOA will apply our best practice technology by which to protect your employees for years to come.
