After deciding which area or combination of areas you want to specialize, you need to register your business with the appropriate body(s) and insure the business as the law in your business location may require. Currently in Nigeria, only registration with CAC is required for a small scale cleaning service.

With your business plan, you can draft proposal which you can submit to your prospective clients. For home services, you could use flyers, adverts or door to door campaign.
Prosecuting your work would require hands to do the job, this you have to decide if they will be on permanent basis or as the job requires (i.e. hire people per job). As a starting business, pending the time you have steady list of clients, it is advised you start with hiring people on job basis.
