How does ClearPass work? ClearPass is a service that allows users to manage internet and network-enabled devices and sharing through an easy-to-use website. Each device registered is identified in the system with a MAC address. A MAC address is a unique identifier assigned to each device. Simply determine your device's MAC address, register it on the ClearPass website, and restart your device. That's it!

You can also setup guest wireless access with ClearPass for visitors to campus.

What devices can be managed with ClearPass? Most common gaming systems, digital media players, and mobile technology can be registered through ClearPass. Devices include Xboxes, PlayStations, PSPs, Wiis, Apple TVs, wireless printers, Google Chromecasts, and Blu-Ray players.
