Showroom & Wellness Experience Center To give you a proper impression of our products, we recommend that you

visit our showroom and Wellness Experience Center in Westknollendam

(Zaanstad - 20 minutes from Amsterdam). Recently the showroom was

renovated, giving you a better picture of our extensive range. Most of the

products we offer are clearly displayed for you here. Our experienced staff

members will give you a warm welcome and advise you about our steam/

shower cabins, baths, whirlpools and the new Modular Steam concept.

you can personally experience the pleasure of a steam shower or the relaxing

Whatever the appearance of your bathroom, relaxation is important. Cleopatra’s baths and whirlpools series come in different sizes so that every bathroom can be fitted out without sacrificing space. Consider what your ideal bathroom would look like and imagine that you can enjoy relaxing in a hot bath.

WellPool™

Clean lines and shapes, without sacrificing comfort! The result is a modern line, two sizes and three shapes, each with their own character. The baths of the WellPool range have been designed by Robert Bronwassser, Smool Designstudio.

Premiumline

Relaxation in bathing! That was the starting point in the development of the baths in the Premium Line range. These baths are deeper on average than ‘normal’ baths and even the smallest bath provides plenty of space and in this way complements any interior.

Luxusline

Unique: deep & ergonomic! Thanks to the shape of the Lounge Pool and Luxus Line models, you can immerse your whole body in warm water. The shape of the human body formed the focus in the design of this bath. Experience this unique level of comfort as if you were lying in a recliner or a sun lounger.

Hydro package Water package

You can choose from 2 models of whirlpool systems, spread across 6 packages, including 3 combi-systems. Each package consists of a number of basic functions and these can be expanded further by adding options and accessories (depending on the package and bath model)

The Spa systemThis system blows air from the bottom into the bath, but rather than direct it upwards, the air is blown parallel to the bottom of the bath to ensure an even more effective massage effect. The result is a continuous flow of many thousands of large and small effervescent air bubbles that massage your body.

The Hydro systemThe lovely little jets in the side wall are hydro-(water)jets that make up a water jet that provides a powerful massaging effect on your back, legs and feet. The control unit is used to control aspects such as pulsation and power (harder or softer).

The Combi system (spa & hydro)The combi-system cleverly combines the powerful water jets on the side with the effervescent effect of the thousands of of tiny air bubbles from the bath floor. However, you can also switch off either of these, if required!

The Double systemIn the larger baths from the Luxus Line range, it is possible to double the number of hydro jets in the combi-system.

Powerful jets and smooth surfaces are just some of the features that the Cleopatra whirlpools can offer you. The atmosphere created by underwater light can help you create your own unique wellness experience at any time of day.

Extra spa jets (with the Spa-system)

Many of the whirlpools in the Premium Line range allow you to add extra spa jets with the spa package if desired. These extra jets may be installed in sets of two. Option not available with WellPool.

Extra hydro jets (with the Hydro and Spa/Hydro system)

Do you want two aditional jets near your feet or at your back? The possible positions for extra hydro jets are shown in the drawing of each bath. Please note the maximum number of jets stated for each bath. Extra jets may be installed in sets of two. Option not available with WellPool.

Underwater lighting white

Coloured LED lighting 2 lights

Creating a high point, while you lie back and relax in the bath. This stylish option surrounds your body with an exciting display of twinkling and colouring lights: Purple, yellow, blue, red and green hues can each be enjoyed continuously or in an alternating sequence. Bear in mind the service hatch in case of a separate bathtub. Not available with the Superior package.

The twinkling lights in the bubbling water guarantee a unique ambience that invites you to enjoy your bath. Chromotherapy: standard included in the Superior package. White light: an option that can be fitted into any system, except into the Basic water system.

The soothing bath oils have been specially developed for use in whirlpools, are gentle on your skin and do not affectthe whirlpool system. You have a choice of 7 wonderful scents.

Handgrip

The nicely shaped handgrips enable you to get in and out easily and are lovely ornaments for your bath.

Neck pillow Self-adhesive

Lay your head on this soft, comfortable cushion and the material (Technogel) moulds itself around your head. The cushion is made from a waterproof gel. (The cushion feature depends on the bath model)

Bath oils

Hydro bath heating (option available with the Deluxe or Superior package)

The Hydro bath heating feature enables you to keep the bath water at a constant temperature. The heating feature can only be operated using the Poolmaster remote control.

Standard power is 1.5 kWException: 3 kW in the case of the Luxus Almeda, Spenida, Magadi and LoungePool 850.

LED light controls

With the LED coloured lights option, a small round chrome control button is fitted to the outer rim of the bath where you get in. This system is operated using a single button, allowing to you to switch it on or off, change the colour and to set the colours white, red, green, blue and yellow.

The Mini-Poolmaster is a flat control unit that is mounted onto the bath rim. The air and water packages and the Comfort package come with the Mini-Poolmaster system fitted, which allows you to operate the whirlpool very easily.

The Poolmaster control system is used for the Deluxe and Superior packages, in the form of a luxurious and very practical remote control system. The base station is mounted on the bath rim, which is also the charger. The stylish designer remote control is designed so that it stays floating in the bath, which means that you always have the controls within reach.

The Delta Line models come fitted as standard with the semi-electronic (K4) touch control unit, which is mounted inside the cabin. This control unit enables you to control the power of the steam unit, allowing you to indirectly influence the temperature in the cabin.

K4 controls

The display inside the cabin lets you set the duration of the steam bath and shows the remaining time and power of the steam unit.

In addition to the K4 functions as described above, you can also control the shower functions using the sensotronic system. This option gives you 2 extra side jets. This enables you, for example, to experiment with the side jets by setting them to the cascade function.

In order to ensure optimum steam production that suits your specific requirements and the situation in which the (modular) steam bath is used, Cleopatra offers two models of steam units: Cleo Basic and Cleo Total. These 2 steam generators, that are also used for professional steam baths, are available with different power levels: 6 kW – 32 kW (380V) and they are extremely suited for structural cabins from 5m3 and up.

All stated functionalities are prepared in the units, but in some cases they depend on other options that may have been chosen.

Technical information

Technical facilities required No specific requirements have been set with regard to installation of a Cleopatra whirlpool. However, it is important that the spa blower is able to suck in air from a heated room. A service hatch must be fitted at the height of the blower/pump in order for any service work to be performed. In addition, electrical connections must be 230V and the water supply must comply with the regulations.

GuaranteeAll Cleopatra whirlpools are supplied with a two-year guarantee as standard for both the system and the installation work. Thermostatic mixers/fittings are guaranteed for 5 years.

Cleopatra and colourAll baths and whirlpools are available in the usual colour of bathroom fixtures, white. Fittings and visible components are supplied in chrome.

HygieneCleopatra baths are equipped with two features that ensure the maximum standard of hygiene, without adding chemicals. The water hoses that are connected to the hydro jets are V-shaped and ensure that all water drains out of the hoses. In addition, all the excess water is blown out of the air system after taking a bath.

Steam shower installation checklist

Steam technology

Installation & technology

The steam production is controlled by a steam unit that is installed outside the cabin. This means that space must be available for installing the steam unit and corresponding technology (maximum length of the steam line is 3 m). This space must always be accessible. Naturally, the steam technology is equipped with all necessary safety measures. The capacity of the steam unit is 3 kW (230V). A 4.5 kW (400V) unit is used for the Colorado Twin. The cabin is automatically filled with steam via the steam inlet after first heating up for around 10 minutes.

The following checklist should be followed before installing the steam shower: Do not place the steam inlet close to legs to reduce the risk of scalding. Place the drain under the steam inlet. Place the temperature sensor at a height of 180 cm, not directly above the

steam inlet and to the right of the door if it opens to the right (and vice versa). Make sure to include a 5 cm deep recess for the operating panel. Consider the type of shower that will be installed in the steam cabin in

combination with the water supply connection. The pipe diameter and hot water capacity of the central heating unit must be adjusted to this.

Did you choose the ‘basic colour light’ option? Make sure there is an extra power supply above the steam cabin ceiling. A separate operating panel is provided for this.

The steam line may be no longer than 3.5 metres. The steam unit must first be installed upwards (50 cm) and then slope downwards towards the steam inlet. Make sure to insulate the steam line. Do not use an elbow coupling, but wide curves.

Steam supply: a 400 volt connection is required for a steam shower with ≥ 6 kW, while a 220 volt connection is sufficient for 3kW.

The fragrance outlet connector is installed in the part of the steam line that slopes downwards towards the steam inlet at an easily accessible location. This ensures that the fragrance cannot enter the steam generator.

We recommend natural ventilation to ensure a stable temperature when steaming and sufficient moisture removal afterwards.

The cabin can be installed in any room with a hot and cold water connection, normal shower drainage, natural ventilation and 230V power connection. All taps, showers and overhead showers are installed and connected in the cubicle at the factory, so that the cabin only needs to be connected to the hot and cold water supply.

Instructions

When planning the positioning of the cabin, allow an additional margin of 50 mm around and on top of the unit for the pipelines and connections. Make a drawing of where and how you intend to install the cabin. Only begin adding the finishing elements to the cabin once it has been fully mounted, installed and tested. Test all finishing components for the cabin to check functioning and for leaks.

The floor should have a load-bearing capacity of 200 kg per square metre. The WellSpring steam cabin with shower basin requires a minimum room height of

2400 mm. If a cabin is mounted without a shower basin, the minimum room height is 2250 mm.

The base set (frame) must be used for installation without a shower basin. WellSpring steam cabin with speakers: remember that a separate wiring conduit

is required for the loudspeaker cables. The electricity supply must comply with the requirements listed under “electrical connections”.

All work activities to the WellSpring may be carried out only when the power supply is switched off.

The IP Rating of the WellSpring is IPX5 and the nominal tension is 230V. The nominal power of the cabin is 3.5 kW.

An electrical socket (230V, 50 Hz) must be available. Installation must be carried out by a professional (electrician/fitter).

Please note: Install a wiring conduit with an internal diameter of 25 mm for the electricity supply of the steam generator in accordance with the installation diagram. For damp spaces, pull a 3x2.5 mm2 cable through this wiring conduit. This cable should be connected to a 16A fuse and a 30A earth leakage circuit breaker.

For the power supply to the control unit, install a wiring conduit with an inner diameter of at least 25 mm. Using the cable supplied, you can position the transformer up to 6 m away from the steam cabin. The transformer must remain permanently accessible and be connected to a wall socket.

For earthing, you should connect a 4 mm2 earthing wire with a length of approx. 3 metres to the rear side of the cabin.

If you connect the loudspeaker to external stereo equipment: the speakers may only be connected to a power supply of no more than 30 watts (8 ohms).

Steam production is controlled by a steam unit that is integrated in the cabin.All technical components are waterproofed by the glass panel in the cabin and are fully accessible from within. The power of the steam unit is 3.3 kW (230V). After around 10 minutes of heating up, the steam enters the cabin via the steam inlet underneath the glass panel.

The electricity supply to steam generator is VDE 0100-compliant. Please note the diameter and location of the wiring conduits. Not suitable for instantaneous water heaters; minimum hydrodynamic pressure is 2.0 bar. Use the WellSpring basic accessories for professional installation of the cabin without

shower basin.

Checklist of important aspects before the cabin is installed: Pharo Shower Temples do not feature back walls. Use only water-resistant

materials for wall coverings, which are suitable for use in damp conditions such as in showers and steam rooms.

The height of the walls and the coverings for these walls must be at least 2300 mm. The height of the room in which the cabin is installed must be at least 2400 mm.

We recommend that the shower basin is positioned first and then to begin with tiling so that the tiling begins on top of the shower basin.

You should take account of the fact that the shower basin must be recessed into the wall (min. 5 mm – max. 10 mm).

The maximum load on the floor can mount to 200 kg/m2 and therefore, the load-bearing capacity of the floor in the space where this product will be installed should have at least this value.

Shower Temple DeLuxe/Steam: Please note that a second wiring conduit is required for the loudspeaker cables. The supply conduits must comply with the requirements stated under “electrical connections”.

Folding seat option: The Shower Temple 100 and 115 models feature one and two folding seats respectively. Prior to fitting, you must first check the stability and load-bearing capacity of the wall. If necessary, you may have to brace the wall first.

With regard to electrical installations, you must observe the regulations and legislation that apply in your country. Installation and testing work must be performed by certified fitters, in observance of VDE 0100 Section 701. All work activities to the shower temple may be carries out only when the power supply is switched off.

A free final circuit (230V, 50 Hz) must be available. The IP Rating of the Shower Temple is IPX5, the nominal voltage is 230 V.

The nominal power for the DeLuxe and Steam versions is 3.5 kW. Please note: Electricity supply wiring conduit Ø 25 mm (interior) (use a

moisture-proof cable of 3 x 1.5 mm) protected with a 16A-fuse and a 30 mA earth leakage circuit breaker.

For loudspeaker connection (to external stereo equipment): The maximum power of the speakers is 30 watts (8 ohms).

Let your installer determine beforehand whether the capacity of your hot water supply is sufficient. This applies where pressure and water volume are concerned, particularly in relation to side jets.

Water connections for all shower temples: DN15 1/2”. Minimum hydraulic pressure for shower temple: 2.0 bar. Install connections for supply and drainage of water in accordance with the

applicable standards DIN 1988 / DIN 1986 and legislation and regulations that apply in your country.

If you really want to sit in luxury, then take a seat in the ‘easy-chairs’ of the Colorado. The shape of the cabin enables it to be positioned both in a corner or flush with a wall. Due to the greater cabin volume, the Colorado requires a higher power from the steam unit, specifically 6 kW.

Installation and technical components

Steam production is controlled by the steam unit that is positioned outside of the cabin. This means that space must be made available for the steam unit and associated technical components to be positioned (length of the steam pipe may be up to 3 m). This space must be accessible at all times. It also goes without saying that safety measures must be applied to all technical components. The power of the steam unit is 3 kW (230V). A 4.5 kW (400V) unit is used for the Colorado Twin model. After 10 minutes heating-up time, the cabin automatically fills with steam via the steam inlet.

Checklist of important aspects before the cabin is installed: Stated dimensions are minimum net cabin dimensions and are subject

to tolerances. Due to the tolerances, before you proceed with installing the cabin, you

should add around 50 mm to the cabin dimensions on all sides. Check that there is sufficient space for taps/thermostatic mixers and pipes.

Add at least 100-150 mm to the net height to allow for connection of the extractor and lighting equipment.

Determine in advance where the external steam technique should be installed. (The length of the steam pipe is maximum 3 metres.) Ensure that the technical components remain easily accessible.

Let your installer determine beforehand whether the power of your hot water supply is sufficient. This applies where pressure and water volume are concerned, particularly in relation to side jets.

The electric connections and a free final circuit should be available within 1 metre of the steam technique.

When installing a cabin with sensotronic touch control unit, you should take into account 50 mm additional space behind the cabin.

If there is a connection to the hot and cold water supply, a normal shower drainage unit, an extractor unit for natural ventilation and a 230V electrical connection, the cabin can be installed. All supplied thermostatic mixers/taps, side jets and roof shower are already pre-mounted in the factory and connected together, so that only hot and cold water supplies need to be connected when the cabin is installed.
