CLG-0, CLG-2Multipurpose Lithium Complex Grease
DescriptionCLG-0 and CLG-2 are lithium complex greases designed for pumpability in central lubricating systems. CLG-0 is best for cold weather conditions or where pumping is difficult. Both greases are good for multipurpose use up to 350°F. Their polymer additives make them very tacky and stringy so they cling to bearings and gears with reduced sling-off. Other additives include anti-wear, extreme pressure, and rust and oxidation inhibitors.

grease guns• Polymer-fortified petroleum grease; minimizes pound-out, sling-out, and melt-out• Anti-wear; extends bearing life, reduces downtime• Extends grease intervals; reduces maintenance costs• Very high load-carrying properties; broad range of application – high and low pressure• Anti-oxidation; protects metal surfaces from corrosion
Applications and UsesCLG greases are designed for use in central lubricating systems. If the previous grease has an incompatible or unknown thickener, purging is recommended.
CLG-0 and CLG-2 may be dispensed by the following:• Hand-operated grease guns• Air-operated grease guns and pumps• Electric grease guns and pumps• Automatic grease reservoirs• Central systems

Product CompatibilityCLG-0 and CLG-2 are safe on ferrous and nonferrous metals. Seal compatibility includes Buna N, Neoprene, Teflon®, silicone and Viton® materials. CLG-0 and CLG-2 are compatible with greases thickened with lithium complexes, conventional lithium, calcium complexes, conventional calcium and aluminum complexes. They are incompatible with clay and polyurea.
