Clifford Camp 2016: Magic Song and Dance

Date: Monday 28 March, Tuesday 29 March, Wednesday 30 March

Limited Time: 90 minutes (Mon: 15.00-15.30, Tues: 15.00-15.30, Wed: 15.00-15.30)

Location: Small Auditorium

Activity Objective:

1. Students can exercise through dancing and learn the dance that they will perform.

2. Let the students learn the new vocabulary through singing the song.

3. Build up students self confidence in singing in English and dancing.

Materials:

1. Song - Magic by B.o.B

2. Speaker (will need to play the song loudly)

3. Four burned CDs with the song

4. Four CD players

5. Eight big poster boards to write dance moves

Procedure:

Tuesday    

 14:45-14:50 1. All students meet at small auditorium.

 14:50-15:00

 2. Teacher explains to students about the activity and show the students the new dance. Divide students into four groups (PP1, P1, P2, P3)  Kaila Orn

 15:00-15:30

 3. Students learn new dance with music (Part 1, practice, part 2, practice, then together)

Wednesday    

 14:45-14:50 1. All students meet at small auditorium.

2. Teacher explains words to the song. Divide students into PP1, P1, P2, P3.  Kaila Orn

 3. Students practice singing the song (following a powerpoint with the lyrics)

Thursday    

 14:45-14:50 1. All students meet at small auditorium.

 14:50-15:00 2. Teachers review the song and dance with the students. All foreign teachers

3. Students practice putting the song and dance together for the ceremony
