Cloth Diaper Washing

• Get diaper pail and wet bag • Put diapers, covers, and wet bags into washer. Set

diaper pail out in the sun to air.

o Fold over laundry tabs on Velcro covers to prevent a “Diaper Train”

• Run the diapers through one COLD cycle, Regular Setting, No extra rinse, No detergent

• When that cycle is done, add 3 Tablespoons of Rockin Green Detergent (use green scoop on fridge)

• Run the diapers through one Warm cycle, Super Wash Setting, Extra Rinse

• After the First rinse, the washer will buzz. Add Ecover when the washer buzzes Add 1 Capful of Ecover directly onto the diapers (1/2 capful for small or medium loads)

• Transfer diapers to the dryer after the Second buzz

• Clean the Lint Filter and be sure Dryer Balls are in the dryer. NO dryer sheet!!!!!!!

• Set the dryer to Auto Sense Dry and the Very Dry Setting (all the way at the bottom)

• Check the diapers when the dryer is done; sometimes small loads need to go a second time. o For second time, Set to Star * setting
