2. MINUTES OF EGM 2018 (PAPER 1)

Approved - Proposed by Mr Ian Stevenson (2E0GBA) and seconded by Mr Tony Nicholson (G8FLV)

3. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT

Mr Ian Stevenson (2E0GBA) delivered a prepared statement detailing a review of the Club’s year. The statement in full is detailed in the Appendix A. The report was received and approved.Proposed by Mr Tony Wilson (G3MAE) and seconded by Mr Tony Nicholson (G8FLV)

4. TREASURER’S REPORT

Mr Dara da Cogan presented the report detailing a financial review of the Club, its accounts and how he feels the Club is situated financially for the near future. The membership fee remains at £35 per annum. The speech in full is detailed in Appendix B.The report was received and approved.Proposed by Mr Shaun Bland (G1RQK) and seconded by Mr Tony Wilson (G3MAE)

5. SECRETARY’S REPORT

Mr John Earland (M6BHP) updated the members via a prepared speech reviewing the Club’s year and how it had progressed. Mention was made of the revised itinerary for the year ahead and changes to the website and Facebook pages. The statement in full is detailed in the Appendix C. The report was received and approved.The report was approved, proposed by Mr Ian Stevenson (2E0GBA) and seconded by Mr Tony Nicholson (G8FLV)

6. ELECTION OF OFFICE BEARERSThe meeting was reminded that only Club members are entitled stand and to vote in elections of Office Bearers.

The Election of Office Bearers was as follows:

Result of Ballot: UnanimousMr Ian Stevenson (2E0GBA) duly re-elected.

Result of Ballot: UnanimousMr Dara de Cogan was duly re-elected.

(iii) Committee Members (3)

Three members were nominated:

Result of Ballot: Unanimous in all rounds therefore:Mr Shaun Bland (G1RQK) was duly elected and Mr Tony Nicholson (G8FLV) and Mr Brian Duffell (G3VGZ) were duly re-elected.

7. A.O.B.

There were several items for discussion amongst the members:

1. It was agreed that Mr John Earland (M6BHP) would take over the administration of the website and a committee meeting will be held to enable this to happen

2. It was agree that the new committee will look at manning the timetable of competitions throughout the year and report and request assistance from the membership

3. A committee meeting will be discussed at the next club meet in February.

With no other business the Chairman closed the meeting at 8.40pm
