The airport is also focus on having the best image possible. The Lanzarote airport quality and environment certifications are: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 14064 and Canary government accessibility accreditation.
Lanzarote Airport was certified by the Spanish Aviation Agency (AESA), according to EU 139/2014 regulation.
Lanzarote Airport has Level 2 certification under ACI Europe’s Airport Carbon Accreditation Programme for its reduced carbon footprint.
As part of the environmental initiatives that CM Lanzarote Airport is implementing, it boosts sustainable transport (including the development of a cycle path), it has adquired new electric vehicles and installed high energy efficient fans for improving the comfort.
Yearly quality surveys for airlines and passengers are carried out in order to monitor their perception of the airport services.
