CNC Freight Services Sdn Bhd worked together with fellow THLG member to deliver four oversized cases from Singapore to

discharging and subsequent delivery to Teluk Ramunia occurred smoothly and without any incidents whatsoever. Our

28.00m Length Girdles from Jenjarom to Port Klang – April, 2017.

28.00meter long girdle exiting shipper’s factory at Jenjarom. Girdles at Port Klang awaiting direct delivery to vessel.

Loading onto vessel was performed following morning. Girdles being lashed on vessel.

CNC Freight Services Sdn Bhd was tasked with delivering four long length girdles from EXW supplier’s factory in Jenjarom to

Port Klang. The girdles were due for the Masinloc Power Plant Expansion Project in the Philippines.

Although we have been servicing our client for many years, the length of the girdles this time was extreme. Our project team

conducted a route survey to ascertain turning points and road accessibility towards Port Klang. From our survey, the use of

extendable pole trailer was found suitable for road journey.

CNC supervised the load out from factory, and escorted the long length girdles to Port Klang. Two back-to-back trips were made

from shipper’s factory to Port Klang, which completed late in the evening.

The following morning, the girdles were successfully loaded onto vessel at Port Klang and to our client’s satisfaction.

Bi-Drum Watertube Boiler from Port Klang to Asahan riverine jetty – November, 2017.

Cargo loading at Port Klang jetty. Smaller riverboats used as make shift tugs at Asahan.

View of the barge being towed by riverboats. Barge arriving Tanjung Balai Asahan jetty.

Last November 2017, CNC Freight Services Sdn. Bhd. was awarded a contract to arrange transportation of a complete palm oil

mill boiler from Port Klang to a riverine port in Asahan, Indonesia. The total shipping volume is approximately 650 cbm and a

full barge charter was used.

Prior delivery to riverine port, our project team ascertained the draft of the river on the navigation path from the river mouth

to the location of discharge jetty. From our survey, calculating the cargo load, as well as pre-determining the footprint, we

recommended for the use of a 220 feet pontoon barge. This is to ensure that the barge is able to navigate the shallow river

which at the lowest point, has a depth of only 1.50 meters.

Our personnel were involved during the river journey at Asahan to make sure that the barge arrives at the site jetty without any

navigational problem.
