The clear TFT operating screen and additional membranekeyboard with its touch sensitive keys.
The automated cycle control: fast and simple communicationbetween man and machineEven without computer control experience, the smart WEILER controlwill effortlessly guide you through the program. The automated cycleconcept allows you to operate the E40 in the same way as a conven-tional manual lathe. Alternatively, you can completely program theworkpiece contour with the assistance of a geometrical processor upto and including calculation of the points of intersection. For further information, please refer to the WEILER control brochure.
Simple workpieces are machined in the same way as on a conventional lathe, only better.
Complicated workpieces are machined in the same way as on a conventional lathe, only faster.
Complex workpieces are machined in the same way as on a CNC lathe, only easier.
Easier to use – more efficient – even saferThe new WEILER E40 has been specifically designed to be even easier to use than its predecessors. To further increase efficiency, improve the view of the working area and provide the best possible protection for the operator, the housing has been redesigned, and the positioning of the apron andcontrol optimized.
Strong bed and a strong spindleThree factors ensure that the new E40 provides thehighest possible cutting performance:
The new bed concept with a total width of 330 mm (impressive for this class of machine)
The newly conceived heavy-duty headstock with a stronger main spindle and a spindle bore of 66 mm.
The powerful main drive with a rating of 20 kW
Power alone is not enoughThroughout the conception process, emphasis was not only placed on performance data. The new design also improves theergonomics, accessibility, ease of use and attractiveness of themachine. With the machine cover closed, all control elements areoutside of the working area and consequently accessible to theoperator at all times.
The Innovation of a Successful Concept
