Co Chair Words of WisdomPat and I have been very busy the past couple of months scheduling the busses, trailers, and ATM machines. A lot of time was also spent scheduling meetings with the Park District and the Village and a number of other things that make our jobs so much fun. No it is not time to save your spot for Main Stage Entertainment yet but it is getting close. LOOK FOR SOMETHING BIG COMING TO FESTIVAL IN 2018 ! When I say big I mean JUMBO. This year we will have a Jumbotron that will be located next to Main Stage. A Jumbotron, sometimes referred to a Jumbovision, is a large-screen television using technology. The original Jumbotron was developed by Sony, and is typically used in sports stadiums and concert venues to show close up shots of an event. We are looking so forward to this new addition to Festival 2018.

Help Wanted Marshals

Really need Marshals for the entire 5 days. Work time is your choice. Also have Day Captains spots available. “Our motto - We have fun!” call Kay 847-392-5244

Stampede & Walk

First Steve could use several people who like to walk or run to put flyers on each house along the race route. He needs approximately 6-8 people and if each could do one mile, both sides of the street, that would be super ! This would be on the weekends before Festival.

And again on Race Morning, Sunday, July First, he will need a bunch of volunteers. The volunteers need to be there from approximately 6am to 9:30 or 10am. Those that are course marshals would require less time than that !

Memorial Day Parade

ATTENTION ALL RED SHIRTSPlease join us at the Memorial Day Parade as we march the route and hand out the 2018 Frontier Days Flyers. This is a great opportunity to say hello to the community and represent the Festival Committee as we honor our veterans. We line up along Davis Street at about 9:00 am on Memorial Day. Hopefully we will have our unit number in time to announce it at our May General Meeting.
